I first spotted this rug on Instagram and, not gonna lie, I bought it during a promo because it looked perfect for my living room. When it showed up in September it had this dusty, almost second-hand vibe — I thought, okay, vacuum a few times and it’ll chill out. It did get better, but not fully, so I emailed customer support last week and didn’t hear back right away. That was annoying, I told my roommate about it and she was like “did you try to call?” Anyhow, after the delay they did get back to me, apologized and said it wasn’t the standard they aim for — which I appreciated. They’re looking into it (order C25096) and I feel better that they took it seriously. Delivery itself was fine and pretty fast, so props there. All in all I’m still happy I bought it — a little mixed feelings, but the service recovery helped.
Right fit, eventually
I remember standing in the living room when the last corner was smoothed out and feeling relieved — that's the moment I knew it was worth the wait. We ordered in August with a 12–15 week lead time; the timeline dragged and communication could be spotty, but when I reached out Layered answered quickly and clearly. The rug matches photos, color and weave are solid, and it feels nicer than some brands I've had before.
