Kickstarter letdown
We backed this on Kickstarter after a buddy showed me the promo — thought the Swap board would feel solid and smooth, great for casual nights. Six years later, after they bought Squareoff and lots of phone calls, still never arrived. Kinda really sad, we kept hoping, kept calling too.
Long wait, small win
I pledged for two game boards on Kickstarter years ago and had almost given up. Then last month a weird little box showed up — finally. Opening it, the pieces looked fine and actually worked out of the box. Not flawless (scratches, late updates), but that moment I felt relieved and oddly satisfied.
Long wait, no board
I chipped in on their Kickstarter almost six years ago. First saw the campaign online and even told a buddy to back it. Then Miko bought Square Off and nothing changed. No shipment, hardly any updates. It's the silence that bugs me. Disappointing. I won't back them again.
Still waiting after six years
don't back them. I backed the Miko Neo and Swap boards on Kickstarter over six years ago and never got the products. At some point Miko bought Square Off and supposedly took over fulfillment, but nothing ever arrived and updates were scarce. It's disappointing and looks pretty unprofessional. I've had other crowdfunding hits and misses, and luckily those went better, so I'm glad I wasn't counting on this for anything important. Sharing this so others know.
Unexpectedly solid support
nice build, setup was a bit fussy and I missed some functions. Customer support from the new owners, Miko, fixed that. They answered fast and walked me through software options and updates. Not flawless — some menus are confusing — but it's been reliable and eased those early doubts.
Miko: Just Okay
I've been using Miko for a few months now, and overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the service. The website is easy to navigate and there's a good selection of products available. I particularly like that they have a lot of natural and organic options, which is important to me.
The delivery has always been prompt and the items have arrived in good condition. I will say that the prices are on the higher side, but I'm willing to pay a little extra for quality products.
One issue I have had is with customer service. I've had to contact them a few times with questions and it's taken a while to get a response. It's not a huge deal, but it can be frustrating when you're trying to get information or resolve a problem.
Overall, I'm happy with Miko and will continue to use them for my online shopping needs.
