I was halfway through setting it up when I realized the subscription thing wasn't mentioned anywhere obvious. The package arrived quickly and the tracker actually works — found my horse, so that was a relief. Customer service was okay, answered but didn't feel they were upfront about fees. Wish they'd be clearer on the monthly cost before purchase. If you need something that just works and you can handle a subscription, fine, otherwise beware small patience helps though.
Boots, beeps, relief
Was putting on muddy boots when the tracker beeped—I knew then it was worth it. We use it every day to keep tabs on our adventurous cat around the farm and the nearby woods where there's no cell signal. Not perfect—battery dies by evening—yet it found her, so I’m happy.
Stuck in Swedish, no back button
Halfway through using the app I noticed the language keeps switching — some screens let you pick English, others stubbornly stay in Swedish. My Swedish is terrible, so I keep hunting for the toggle and it's annoying. I run the service on two phones, Android and iPhone; on the iPhone there is no visible back button in the app to step back from views like the history track. Closing the app doesn't help either — reopen and it lands me right back on the history screen, which feels like a stuck state. A short, simple guide covering basic functions would fix a lot, but I couldn't find one. It's functional overall, just rough around the edges, and that makes it less smooth than competitors.
Pretty useful, needs fixing
the track can zigzag and be off by what seems like a hundred meters. The app crashes occasionally and the only remedy I've found is uninstall/reinstall, and sometimes the watch needs a reboot. It's handy in a pinch, but it needs more stability and better GPS.
Still a solid choice
I’m staying with Minifinder. I rely on the Pico Lite to keep an Alzheimer’s patient safer, and that's not something I swap often. Over the past year the location reports started acting up now and then — annoying and stressful — but the support team was quick, practical and honest. They pushed through temporary workarounds at first and just recently rolled out a proper fix that actually holds. After earlier frustration with another vendor who ghosted me, this responsiveness matters. It’s not perfect, devices age, but their customer care made the difference and I feel relieved. Small sigh of relief, honestly. Would recommend to anyone who needs dependable tracking and decent post-sale support.
Not what I expected, but delivery was fast
sales kept telling me it had full GNSS support, and we tested it with our tech team — it doesn’t. That matters because I bought it to keep tabs on my dad when he goes for walks and for weekend field checks with a small crew. The SOS button also failed during a basic test, which was worrying. I chased support, sent emails, and then... silence. So yeah, good shipping and decent battery life, but the tracking capabilities and emergency function didn’t match what was sold. I’m glad it arrived fast and that at least the battery held up during initial testing, otherwise I’d be completely stuck. If you need a reliable GNSS tracker for daily safety use, I’d look elsewhere until they stop overpromising and fix support.
