the installer stepped back and the doors closed perfectly — quiet, smooth, and exactly the modern spray finish I’d been hunting for (had almost given up on finding this in the UK). I needed something after a messy move and a previous carpenter who left me fuming, so I was wary. I found them online, checked Trustpilot, sent measurements and they came back with three clear options and useful tweaks. A few days ago they installed it; there was a little back-and-forth on a trim but they sorted it. Really pleased — feels like a real upgrade.

First-morning satisfaction
I knew I’d made the right call the first morning I opened the bedroom door. The doors sat true. The drawers ran smoothly. I put a coat in and it just felt right. We had the units fitted a few weeks ago and started using them straight away. First impression was mostly positive — clean joins, no rough edges, the finish matched what we discussed. It did take longer than I thought. I also had to chase a couple of small points with the office during the build. The fitter on site was quiet and careful, polite enough, and handled the tricky bits without fuss. The moment of real satisfaction was when everything closed flush and I could finally hang my shirts without gaps or odd shelves. Solid workmanship overall. Not perfect, but definitely worth it if you want bespoke that actually works.
Late-night mix-up at Cherry Creek
50 pm, I was already thinking this would be a quick stop — just needed a pair of stockings. I’ve been in this store a couple times before and usually the layout and selection are fine, so my expectations were low-key. I’d checked Apple Maps earlier and it showed a 9 pm close, so I wasn’t worried. Right away, the key holder came up to me with a sharp tone, standing too close and saying we closed in less than ten minutes. That put me on edge. I told her I’d seen 9 pm online and that I’d be fast. Her attitude didn’t change; in fact, she kept insisting the hours were different and then, while I was only a few feet away, she and some others were gossiping about me behind the register. Not great. After not finding what I wanted, I went back to the counter and showed her the Apple Maps hours. Her tone dropped immediately, like that proved me right and that was that. I was a bit relieved — glad the mistake was cleared up quickly — but also left wondering why there wasn’t a simple apology or a heads-up about the inaccurate hours. It felt like management’s error but it was customers who got the short end of it. Small good: once the hours were shown, the situation deescalated and I left content that the inconsistency was fixed at least in that moment. Overall, service delivery needs a bit of work — courtesy and correct public hours would save everyone some time.
Nice look, messy delivery
the wardrobes look great, but the whole project was a mess. I use them every morning to grab clothes and they do brighten up the bedroom — Jeff’s designs were solid. That said, the build dragged on forever (about 100 days instead of the promised four), and my oak skirtings were ripped off even though I’d asked them to leave them alone during the design stage. The project manager was hard to reach, snagging was handled poorly and needed extra visits that felt pointless, and they swapped in cheaper materials despite this being a pretty pricey job (around £20k). When I pointed out clear damage at the finish, the company pointed to a clause about “bespoke” imperfections and basically shrugged. I’ve been waiting on a reply to an email I sent in June. So yeah, nice furniture that I actually like using every day, but the communication, timing and aftercare let it down — I won’t be hiring them again.
Soft top, hard attitude
I still laugh a little when I think about the whole thing, mostly because the top itself is fine — soft, kind of slubby cotton, sits nicely on the shoulders, looks casual but not sloppy — and then the rest of the visit was just… theatrical. I first spotted the shirt online while scrolling through stuff my sister-in-law had liked and sent the link. My wife said “oh that would be perfect” for casual shifts and weekends, so she ordered it. When it arrived it was the right color but just a tad tight across the chest, nothing dramatic, just not as relaxed as she wanted for twelve-hour hospital shifts. We tried washing it like the tag said; it didn’t really change, so she decided she’d swap it for the next size in-store the day before Christmas. Life got in the way — she ended up working crazy hours at the hospital (like, really long stretches), and we didn’t make it back downtown, so I went in later to handle it for her.
