So, this is kind of a rant but also a heads-up. I ordered a black wardrobe through Walmart Marketplace from a seller called OJCommerce. Delivery actually showed up faster than I expected, which was nice, but when I opened the end of the box I could tell right away it was the natural color—not black. I wasn’t about to drag out a 100 lb piece, build it, measure it and then repack it, so I snapped a photo and put it back in the box for return. Seller’s response? “Unpack it, assemble it, measure it.” Over and over. I’ve explained everything multiple times to them and twice to Walmart. Walmart rep was more reasonable than the seller, oddly, but OJCommerce kept sending canned emails like they didn’t read me. Feels like they’re trying to dodge return shipping. So yeah, delivery speed = decent, packaging fine, customer service from the seller = frustrating and stonewalling. If you care about returns being honored, be careful here.
Not what I expected, but usable
double-check the seller before you buy, ask for photos if you can, and be ready to do a little DIY. Still annoyed about the mix-up and the return policy, but practical outcome is acceptable.
Sent the wrong desk and left us to clean up the mess
this was a hassle I didn't sign up for. I ordered a computer desk for my home office — something I need every day for work calls, homework with the kids, and my ever-growing pile of cords — and what showed up was a console table with a glass shelf. Not even close. So yeah, conclusion first: not great, and they made returning it my problem.
Mid-move relief turned into a pleasant surprise
I emailed, got a real person quickly, and they walked me through options without making me jump through hoops. They offered a return pickup or a discounted exchange and explained the inspection and refund timeline clearly. I chose the exchange and they arranged carrier pickup so I didn’t have to wrestle with a boxed piece or pay extra. The product itself is sturdy enough for daily use and low-profile like I needed; not perfect cosmetically, but fine for a bedroom where function mattered more than showroom looks. So yeah, started off wary, but delivery was smooth and the team handled the mix-up professionally. If you’re buying because of mobility issues or a move, mention that up front — they seemed to prioritize getting it right. Would buy again, mostly because the people made the situation painless.
Not worth the table drama
don’t expect a smooth ride — I eventually ended up with a solid table, but it cost me patience, calls, and an awkward pile of junk at the door. I first heard about OJ Commerce from a buddy who swore their furniture was “a steal,” so I went for it. The first delivery arrived damaged. They sent a replacement, which also arrived damaged. Then, somehow, a third one showed up in one piece and that’s the one I kept. So yeah, conclusion first: product can be okay, the rest is a mess. Why? The two damaged tables were heavy — like 200 lbs each — and I don’t drive, so arranging returns wasn’t exactly easy. I asked them if the courier would pick up the broken pieces and they said they’d check and get back to me. Spoiler: they didn’t help. After the third good table landed, OJ Commerce told me their part was done and I should figure out disposal myself. I got a quote from a mover (a Tasker) for about $400 to haul away the two damaged tables. Paying nearly as much to dispose of what I bought for $587 felt ridiculous, and they were pretty indifferent about that. They also blamed me for choosing a replacement instead of a refund — apparently there’s a 30% restocking fee, which is why I took the replacements in the first place. So, imperfect but usable product in the end, and I can sit at a fine table — just not without a bunch of hassle and extra cost. If you’re short on patience or can’t handle heavy pick-ups, think twice. I’m telling friends to avoid the headache unless you’ve got logistical backup.
