the credit didn’t cover shipping for the new items either. So yeah, that double-shipping thing is real and annoying. In the end I kept the shoes because the return hassle seemed worse than just eating the cost. Oddly enough, after a couple wears they actually broke in nicely and are pretty comfy—so my initial doubt about fit faded into mild surprise. I’m happy with the product itself, but not with the returns policy or the runaround. If they fixed the return shipping deal, I’d be back. As it stands, I’ll be more careful next time and maybe stick with brands that make returns painless.
Nice lights, messy process
the fixtures were fine, but I wouldn’t go through Olivia’s again. Shipping dragged out and it turned into a part-time job chasing parcels. We ordered several wall lights through our electrician for a renovation and the delivery kept slipping to the last minute of the promised window. On top of that, packages were sent to wrong addresses more than once. One showed as “delivered” with a blurry proof photo that revealed nothing — no porch, no house number, just a smudge — so we had to spend weeks untangling where our stuff actually was. Customer contact felt reactive. We were always the ones calling or emailing to find out what went wrong instead of being informed up front. We did return one light within the return window and were told a 20% restocking fee applied under trade terms. They offered a credit to avoid that, which we took to finish the job, but then a collection charge popped up too. That felt unfair after all the delivery problems. The lights themselves look good and work as expected, but the ordering and after-sales headache soured the experience. If you try them, double-check addresses, ask about return fees, and be ready to chase.
Slow but okay in the end
said two weeks, then constant emails that replied "2–5 more business days," no tracking updates, and it finally showed up after about 40 business days. The fabric wasn't like the photos, which was annoying. Customer service was slow but they did issue a partial refund, so I'm mildly satisfied.
Side table sitcom
I thought I’d be relaxed ordering a simple side table, but it turned into a little sitcom. Website said "in stock, 4 days" — seven days later I asked where it was and was told the supplier delivered a damaged one, they reordered; item still showed in stock online. A week later no update, I chased again, silence. I asked for cancellation and a refund and then was told it had shipped…to them, not me. They agreed to refund, nothing showed up. In the end PayPal saved me and issued the refund. I’ve had smooth deliveries elsewhere, so this was annoying, but I’m relieved it finally ended. Would I order again? Probably cautiously.
