Purchased these so I could have fun with them. Paid extra- a lot- for the progressive lenses and bought the Pair Care (such a complete rip off) and had to replace them soon because the lenses cracked in the corners by the screws. I assumed I had dropped them or something. I re ordered because I love the design. Now, these are cracking in the SAME PLACE. So I now have 2 sets of these glasses with cracked lenses! I’m so disappointed, and out a whole lot of money.

Kirby glasses and 3 toppers
Ordered the kirby and 3 toppers on November 9th, received the base eyeglasses on the 21st of November with NO TOPPERS. Those are all on back order. I find it hard to believe that not even one is in stock? Tried customer service and you have to leave a message. Checked the reviews to find that this is a common issue with this company. Never again. Now to figure out how to return the base and wash my hands with this company.

Then I get an email from them. "We are unfortunately unable to make this Pair due to the high strength of the prescription." So now, after telling my eye doctor that I would never buy from them again, I'm going back with my tail between my legs. My prescription isn't even that strong. WTH?? Apparently, Pair Eyewear is only good for those who don't really require corrective lenses. So disappointed!! Don't waste your time!!
try Zenni eyewear online-have ordered over 30 pair from the over 5 years and NEVER had a problem.Have ordred for other family members and always perferct-customer service is awesome as well-good luck
The Kent wprogressive lenses clear frame
I ordered the Kent with clear frames, progressive lenses. I also ordered 6 toppers and 2 sun glass toppers. LOVE LOVE LOVE being able to match or contrast what im wearing as i just knew i would.
HOWEVER.... the progressive portion of the lenses is wrong/off... sigh. Theyre unusable for reading, using my cell phone or well anything close up. If i close one eye and move my head and eyes i can find the right spot. Oh and its a different spot for each lense...Now isnt that a pretty picture?
I notified pair ware, thinking that mistakes happen so no big deal just send them back straighten it out and send me a correct pair. Reasonable, right? Nope i was told i could return them i would get credit but not for the progressive portion or blue light or any other "add ons". I could return the toppers but I'd also only receive a portion of the money spent for them. So the roughly $540 I'd spent wouldnt be refunded... which was NOT what i wanted. I wanted my lenses corrected. Then I was told to contact my prescriber for a better prescription. What?? I just needed the lense corrected to be true progressive lenses.
So, the idea of the glasses is wonderful, fun, fashion forward and just as described... BUT if you actually need prescription lenses to see BE AWARE they wont make them right.
Switch AYRA frames and prescription lenses
These were on display at my optometrist's office when i was choosing a frame for my prescription lens sunglasses. There was no indication that the lenses had to be inserted via magnets or i wouldnt have chosen them. It took forever to get them. We were all shocked when we saw the magnetic attachments for the lenses. They keep falling out at the slightest touch. I was cleaning the lenses and one of them popped right out into my hand. On another occasion I had them on, not touching anything at all and they fell out onto the floor. This keeps happening. I have contacted them several times to explain the problem and all I get are emails saying my email was received and the complaint was being updated. I could not get any answer by phone. I paid my copay and my insurance paid their part. All I have is a frame and 2 unattached prescription lenses. They are of no use to me.
I hope this is growing pains. NOT SURE how long they have been in business, but their customer service is SLOW!!! OMG. My sister gave me a lot of toppers that she got doubles of due to the companies mistakes last year. SO I finally decided to give them a go on their glasses in order to use those toppers. IM SO FRUSTRATED! Yes one time I made an error in order, and I did have good luck returning them though it took ages. BUT SLOW process. BE VERY patient if you want to order. I do love their products, so that is one thing going for them. BUT SLOWWWWWWW and sometimes dont read your emails and ask the SAME question back to you UGH
Terrible customer service and communication from this company….. also finally received my glasses after a month and a half, and they messed up my prescription for my lens and I’m not able to see out of them…… when I put them on it’s nothing but complete Blurriness and when I contact them about the problem their not responding back
