    Wrong courier, shady follow-up

    I wouldn’t buy from them again. They didn’t respect my shipping choice and then handled the whole thing badly. That’s the short version. Now the details. I chose EMS for a reason — in my country FedEx is unreliable and asks for cash on delivery for customs, which I want to avoid. Simple preference. But when the order shipped, the carrier had been switched to FedEx without my consent. That’s the issue that ruined the rest of the experience. I contacted the shop as soon as I noticed. They replied a couple days later, but the response felt off. Instead of fixing the mistake they offered a future discount if I removed my review. That came across like a bribe. I refused. It’s not about the money. It’s about transparency and following what the customer agreed to. After that, their public reply to my review didn’t match what actually happened in our messages. I have copies of the emails and the carrier’s requests. I passed them along to the review platform. Another annoying thing: FedEx asked for import payment and paperwork while the package was en route. I sent the requested documents right away. Still, delivery got delayed because they were behind due to holiday volume. That’s not the shop’s doing, at least not directly, but the shop choosing a different courier without telling me is their responsibility. I don’t like surprises when it comes to customs and payment methods. One small positive: the item itself arrived in good condition and was exactly as described. That was a relief. I wasn’t expecting that part to go smoothly given everything else. But the lack of communication before switching carriers, the offer to remove criticism with a discount, and the mismatch between their public statements and my reality left a bad taste. If you live where FedEx requires cash on delivery for duties, think twice before assuming any chosen shipping option will be honored. My wish for the shop: honor the selected carrier, or at least be upfront and ask before switching. If there’s a genuine problem, say so, explain and offer a real solution, not a hush-money type discount. My advice to other buyers is to ask for written confirmation that the chosen courier will be used and to keep all messages. If honesty matters to you, pick a seller with clearer communication. For the shop’s part, be consistent — small things like this are fixable, but they need to want to fix them. Overall I’m disappointed but not furious; the item was fine, and it did get delivered eventually. Still, business ethics matter. I won’t recommend them until they stop changing shipping behind customers’ backs and stop trying to silence criticism with incentives. I shared all my records with the review site so they can judge the accuracy of the responses. If you value predictable customs handling and the ability to pay duties in advance, this one didn’t meet that need for me.

    Quietly disappointed after unboxing

    I opened the box on a slow Saturday and right away something felt off. The paint and a joint were clearly flawed, so I filmed the issue and reached out to customer support like they asked. The person I spoke with was actually polite and seemed to want to help, so I tried to stay patient. Still, it’s been over a month with nothing concrete — no shipping label, no replacement, no timeline — and that’s the detail that really bothered me. I get that some things take time, but waiting more than a month for a replacement on a pricey collector’s figure feels like poor handling. I’ve had companies in the past process a replacement or at least send a prepaid label within a week or two, and compared to that this was slow and a bit careless. I also followed their steps, sent videos, explained the defect clearly, and was told a replacement was being arranged, which never materialized. In the end I declined the offer because I didn’t want to keep waiting with no guarantee. I don’t want this to sound harsh — the rep was courteous — but good manners don’t fix an empty promise. If you’re buying an expensive limited edition and support matters to you, check who actually ships replacements fast or offers refunds upfront. I won’t be ordering from them again based on this experience, and I’d recommend confirming return/replacement policies in writing before you commit. It’s disappointing more than anything, and a little annoying after putting in the time to document the problem.
