Was halfway to work when I realized I liked this — screen stays visible and maps are easy to tap, so I stopped stressing about it. I use it every day for navigation and the occasional podcast. Wish it had voice control though, because fiddling with it pulls my eyes off the road. Registered for the free accessories months ago and still waiting, so service/fulfillment could be better, but overall it does the job.
Works okay, but customer support and shipping are a mess
the cameras themselves are fine, but getting parts and help has been a pain. I needed this after buying a new car and having Best Buy remove the dash cam from my old one — so I could get it reinstalled. The SD card reads fine on my computer and the footage is there, though the Rexing app is awkward to use, I mean, not intuitive. A suction cup went missing when Best Buy took it off, so I ordered a replacement from the Rexing USA site about 12 days ago. Supposed to arrive last week; still nothing. I’ve messaged Rexing at least six times with no reply. Best Buy agreed to refund the $30 I paid, and they’ve rescheduled the install twice now. Annoying, but I’m glad the camera works and hopefully I’ll get the refund — fingers crossed.
