don’t rely on this for last-minute presents. I’ll say up front the stuff itself was fine — nothing wrong with the items — but the ordering and shipping side was messy enough that I won’t risk it again. I first ordered in November and one item was missing; they did refund that, so credit where it’s due. Then I placed what I thought was a Christmas-safe order on December 17. Their website said you had to order by the 19th at noon for standard shipping to arrive by Christmas. I called twice, checked online, and still the package didn’t ship in time — it went out late and showed up on December 26. Not a small annoyance when it’s a gift. Customer service was hard to follow on the phone, seemed staffed overseas, and asking for a supervisor didn’t get me one; that back-and-forth felt pointless. They also refused to refund the $17.99 shipping charge even though their timeline claim was what led me to place the order when I did. I never got a confirmation email either, which made tracking harder. So, again: product okay, and they refunded a prior missing item, but the communication, the shipping promise, and the fees left me frustrated. If you have plenty of time and don’t mind checking in, it could work, but for time-sensitive purchases I’d look elsewhere.
Missing-shirt saga
I pictured a shirt on the porch and my dad grinning. Instead we got the mystery of the vanishing order. My parents bought a shirt and, somehow, it was sent to our old address. The people who live there now swore they never got it. We called customer service. They promised a replacement. Relief. Then nothing showed up. A week later Signals acted like the phone call never happened and claimed the replacement was ordered online (which wasn't even an option for a free replacement). Now they want us to pay again for the same shirt. It’s annoying. I’ve had worse runarounds with other companies, but at least those finally fixed it. Here? No follow-through. Told my dad to dispute the charge with the bank. Kinda glad there’s a backup plan, but the whole thing left a bad taste.
I ordered 10 items including a quilt, jewelry, gifts, etc.
This stuff is overpriced, cheaply made ..., packaged in a way that makes it look like you bought it at the dollar store. Avoid them! Buy elsewhere. The catalog makes everything look nice, but it is actually such poor quality, that I am embarrassed to gift it.
Rain Poncho
I ordered the Rain Poncho as a gift in size L/XL.When it came it was way to big. After looking again on the signals website I discovered after scrolling down the page that L/XL is actually size 1X-3X. Who knew! When looking at the size it should say check sizing before ordering instead of select sizing. I would like to get my money back but don't know what the return policy is and I don't have my receipt. I did reorder the poncho today in S/M. Order# H6004469.
Bell Chimes
I bought as a gift that was suppose to be in a gift bag and wasn’t even the packaging slip said it but NOT included! Chimes are very nice.
I called to get a credit for the 4.95 gift bag and was on hold for 25 mins to speak to someone. My time is worth more than the aggravation and will not order from them again!!!!
