    As a customer at the store, I gotta say, I was really impressed by all the different mattresses they had to choose from.     Dresser purchase for granddaughter

    After having issues with a bunch of other furniture stores, we finally found our way to Slumberland and let me tell you, what a lifesaver! We'd been on the hunt for a dresser for our granddaughter, and every other store we'd been to just didn't cut it in terms of quality and options. But lo and behold, Slumberland had exactly what we wanted. Ordering was a breeze, the dresser came ready to go and super well-packed, and it even showed up earlier than we thought. All in all, a truly awesome experience!

    Recliner with warranty

    I got this recliner with a five-year warranty, but it quit working after just a month. Trying to fix it has been such a pain - so much red tape and waiting for the right parts. I wouldn't suggest buying from here to anybody.

    I was super pumped to finally get my new bed delivered, but man, Slumberland totally tricked me. Their site said I could get free doorstep delivery in my area without even having to come into contact with anyone, but when I was about to check out, they hit me with a $100 charge! What a total scam! I called them out on it and they said I only get free delivery within their "local delivery area." Like, what the heck does that even mean? So not cool, Slumberland. You can't advertise free delivery and then try to slip in extra fees like that. Nope, not cool at all.

    I got this really comfortable bed from there and I absolutely love it! It feels like I'm sleeping on a cloud. The only thing that kind of bothered me was that I had to order it instead of being able to take it home right away. But totally worth the wait!

    Wooden bed frame purchase

    I recently bought a bed frame made completely of wood from Slumberland online. The folks at the store were cool and really knew their stuff, helping me pick out the perfect bed. But when it came to their online customer service, it was a letdown. I placed my order on August 11th and didn't hear anything about any delays or back orders until I reached out to them after a week and a half. They told me the bed wouldn't be back in stock until early November, so me and my husband were stuck sleeping on a full-size mattress until then. Even though it was a hassle, customer service didn't offer any discounts or refunds to make up for the wait. Being in customer service myself, I believe this isn't the right way to treat customers, especially with all the challenges businesses are facing because of Covid.

    Mattress purchase

    I bought a mattress at this store and man, am I disappointed. The first one we got had a big dent in it where our heads go so it was super uncomfortable. We swapped it out for a different one, but the second one was nothing like what we tried in the store. The one they delivered was rock hard and felt terrible to sleep on - the springs were even jabbing into us. Now my wife and I have been dealing with back pain, shoulder and hip numbness, and even our arms falling asleep because of this awful mattress. We tried talking to the company for a solution, but they've been no help and keep referring back to their return policy without offering any other options.

    I just bought a new sectional at a furniture store in Shakopee, MN. They had a lot of options there, but I chose the sectional because it matched my decor perfectly. But when it was delivered and I took a closer look, I realized the two pieces were different colors and textures. I was really bummed out because I spent a lot of money on it. I reached out to the store manager right away, but they weren't very helpful and didn't want to fix the mistake. Dealing with such bad customer service was frustrating, especially since I was expecting better quality. I recommend being careful when shopping at this store because the return process is a headache.

    Hot buy mattress with deceptive warranty

    I went ahead and splurged on this mattress because the salesperson at the furniture store was raving about it being a "hot buy." They also talked me into purchasing their special mattress protector for the warranty, which seemed like a good idea at the time. Well, I got it home, put it on my bed, and boy was I in for a surprise! This thing was so plasticky and crinkly, every little move I made was met with an annoying noise. It was anything but comfortable to sleep on. Naturally, I tried to return it the next day, only to be met with a total lack of recognition by the salesperson. When I asked for the manager, the guy vanished into thin air, leaving me to stew in my frustration. Their customer service was a big letdown, and you can bet I won't be back there again!

    Two sofas and a chair

    The folks at this store are awful! My mom and I were looking to buy two sofas and a chair, and this sales guy, Matt, was super rude and dishonest! He told us one of the sofas would be ready in a week or two, but it turns out it won't be here until mid-November! And then the manager, Amber, was just awful. She wouldn't allow us to return the sofa that was delivered, even though it had a stain on it when we received it! They are all just focused on making as much money as they can and don't give a darn about the customers. It's so annoying!

    Sofa and chair purchase

    I recently bought a sofa and chair from this store, and let me tell you, it was a total letdown. The sofa was delivered on time, but guess what? It was missing its legs! They said they'd get the legs to me in a day or two, but that never happened. When I reached out after the holiday, the sales rep didn't seem to care at all. Now they're saying I'll have to wait 6 weeks for the legs - can you believe that? As someone who likes things to be efficient and reliable, this whole situation has been a huge disappointment. I'm definitely reconsidering shopping here again.

    Broken furniture purchase

    The furniture I got from that place was just awful! It arrived all broken and messed up. And then, when they finally sent someone to fix it (which took forever), they just left all the broken pieces in my living room! Can you believe that? They had the nerve to say it was my problem to deal with it! Like, come on, I didn't break it! And when I told them it wouldn't fit in my trash can, they said I had to pay for trash removal. What a rip-off! Their service is terrible, they don't give a darn about their customers. Stay away from that place at all costs!
