contact Adidas, show the receipt, prove they came from this location, maybe they’d been worn too much. They’re football boots—being worn is kind of their job. It felt awkward and pretty dismissive, and I was ready to leave annoyed. Thankfully, another employee stepped in and exchanged them without making it a big production. So the issue was fixed, eventually, but the first response really took the shine off it. Not exactly confidence-inspiring.
They Actually Explained the Weird Stuff
My platform issue started looking harmless, then somehow turned into that kind of problem where every “quick fix” creates two new tabs and a mild headache.
