I hesitated for months because I'm not a machinist and the kits looked pretty intricate, plus I worried about parts and getting help if I messed up. After I finally ordered, most of those worries melted away. Their replies usually came in a few hours, with plain, useful info and no attitude, and when I needed a tiny bracket they sent parts and clear steps to fix it. The builds are fiddly, sure, but that’s part of the appeal; the company actually helps you through the sticky bits. It feels like a small team who cares, not a faceless shop. I'm still learning and still making the same stupid mistakes sometimes, but I'm hooked, relieved I didn't let doubt stop me. Seriously, it's become my go-to weekend thing.
Nice site, shaky delivery
an unfamiliar carrier called 'uni uni' showed up and then everything slowed. Customer support (Mona) answered emails quickly and kept saying "it's on its way," which was a relief at first, not gonna lie. I called the carrier listed and they told me the package reached a local hub on 12/23/24 and should be delivered within 24–48 hours after that — that didn't happen. Now it's been days beyond that window and nothing showed. I got nervous and started digging online; there are other folks with similar stories and that added to the worry. What bugs me most is the mismatch between the promised big carriers (UPS/DHL/FedEx/USPS on the site) and the actual HK tracking number and that strange local carrier name. The bright spot? The rep kept replying and didn't ignore me, even if the answers were always the same. Bottom line: I can't recommend buying expensive stuff here, especially when a kid's money is on the line. Proceed with caution, double-check tracking and maybe avoid if you need a solid delivery. I'm still hoping for an update but I'm not holding my breath, sadly, yet.
Awful wait, shaky process
don’t expect a smooth purchase — long story short, avoid unless you like chasing refunds. I ordered what they said was in stock (a $999 model engine plus a $100 starter kit, shipping pushed the total to about $1,200) and after 45 days it still hadn’t shipped. At first I thought maybe there was a simple delay, but it turned into constant back-and-forth: replies come from a personal-looking Gmail address, responses take a couple of days, and every time I check they promise “shipping in X days” and then miss it. I’ve sent dozens of emails over seven weeks and finally asked for a refund — still no money back on my card. I can’t prove it’s a flat-out scam, and other companies I’ve used sometimes have delays too, but those at least refund or communicate properly. Here the communication felt like excuses more than solutions. The manufacturer apparently is overseas, which might explain lead times, but that doesn’t excuse disappearing orders or unprocessed refunds. It’s not the worst product experience I’ve had (I never did get to test the engine), but the ordering and customer service process is unreliable and annoying. If you value your time and want a clean return/refund option, look elsewhere.
Surprise upgrade that actually helped
one new piece turned out to be a pump-priming lever that replaced the spacer on the governor stud — cool once you figure it out. The fuel feed line? Not even close to fitting; I had to bend and shorten it, and yeah, a little cursing happened. The screws for the injector-to-head were missing, but no drama — I dug up some spares. Customer service was actually helpful when I messaged them, quick replies and polite, which made me feel better about the missing bits. The upgrades made priming a whole lot easier — you can hold down the external spring lever and pump until the injector’s purged, no loosening fittings, and you can watch the movement to know it’s done. Exhaust repositioned to the bottom of the head feels smart, probably avoids hydrolock from pooled fuel. Had to reset valve clearances and the shorter governor spring gives noticeably better speed control. Engine runs much nicer now, though I’ll still tweak injection timing. Overall glad I tried it — delivery and service made the small headaches worth it.

Model kit purchase
I just got a model kit from this store and I was so happy with how quickly it came and the great service I got. They sent out my order right away, which was awesome. When I thought I was missing a piece while putting it together, I reached out to customer service. They got back to me in a few days with a solution, even though the piece wasn't actually missing. It was nice to see that they cared and were there to help. I got this model airplane kit from a company and man, I was seriously blown away by how good it was. The instructions were super clear and made putting it together a piece of cake. End result? Super impressive. Everything fit together perfectly and the model looked so realistic and detailed.

Two items
I ordered two items on February 9, 2024. The website said it would take 14-30 working days to get my order. But, it actually took a full 3 months for it to arrive, which was really disappointing. I tried reaching out about my order a few times, but didn't hear anything back until I left a negative review. Even though it was frustrating, I was happy with the products once they finally showed up.

I just bought the FS-L400BGC model from Stirlingkit and man, let me tell you, my experience was top-notch! From the first time I started looking for this model, all the way to receiving the product, I was blown away by how professional and quick the team was.
Engine kit purchase
I recently bought this engine kit and I was super excited to put it all together. The instructions were really clear and detailed, which made it pretty easy to assemble. But, when I first started it up, I did come across a few issues. The instructions didn't have torque specs for the screws and nuts, so the flywheel kinda went crazy, which was a little scary. It would've been nice to have more specifics on the torque to prevent things like that from happening in the future. Also, I was a bit bummed when I found out that the metal timing gears I was promised were actually plastic in the kit. Metal would have been more durable. And then there was the timing belt tensioning system, which seemed a little weak as the belt loosened when it got hot. A better system for that would definitely make the engine kit perform better.
But, once I got everything going, the engine ran pretty well. It just took some work to get it started. Overall, I'm happy with the engine kit, but I think it would be awesome if it was made with better quality materials. I'd be willing to pay a little more for that. I actually ended up giving the kit to my son as a fun project after his freshman year in college, and he had a blast putting it all together.Motor and accessories purchase
