the tool itself works and I was genuinely relieved when my phone came back to life. But billing and support felt clunky and sometimes sketchy. It’s useful, just be cautious with the subscription stuff.
Disappointed but not shocked
the iPad stayed black. No change at all. That’s when things started to go sideways. Support answered my first email, but then asked me to get a third-party hardware diagnostics report from Apple or another service — something they never mentioned anywhere before I paid. I mean, if I could get to Apple for a hardware check, why would I have bought the software in the first place? After a few back-and-forth emails, they refused a refund and instead offered a lifetime license or to try a different Tenorshare product. Not helpful when trust is gone. What really bugs me is the mismatch between their advertising (“refunds if it fails”) and the conditions they quietly add later. I expected at least a straightforward return if the program didn’t do what it promised. I’ve contacted my bank and I’ll be posting about this on a couple of forums so others know the risk. If you want a smooth refund process, don’t assume this will be it — the app’s easy to use, but the after-sales policy left a bad taste.
Hard to cancel, took too long
you can’t paste previous answers in, and the captcha kept throwing a verification error after I typed it in. So you have to start over, and the form still won’t submit. I took photos and a video of the failures and the error screens, and that’s when I felt satisfied — not because the company fixed anything, but because I’d gathered proof to support a complaint or a chargeback if needed. I haven’t been charged yet (my billing date is a few days out), but knowing I have evidence made me feel in control again. I told the colleague who sent the link and a couple friends to hold off — no point repeating the hassle. There’s a bit of relief mixed with annoyance; I’m glad I didn’t just ignore it, because this kind of opaque process wastes time. If you try it, be prepared to spend time or have documentation ready. I won’t recommend it to people who don’t want the extra headache.
