Operating train car
Site lists used items as FUNCTIONAL when they should be lsited as UNTESTED.
Track gauge
1) The product I ordered weighs only a few ounces, but took them several days to ship
2) They delivered the wrong part
3) The don't have a phone # you can call to directly speak with a representative
4) I had to contact them three times, ultimately threatening to reverse the charges, before a customer service representative emailed me with RMA instructions

I have a awesome wish list on this site. They constantly have new products. Discriptions and pictures are very accurate. They answer your question in a timely manner. Shippung is quick and i havent had any problem with merchandise coming in broken... I will continue to use them...
MTH 24pc Elevated Trestle
I have purchased rolling stock from Trainz in the past and just like with those purchases, I was very happy. Even though the product was used and the description was pretty spot on. I really could not be happier with my items. Ordering was extremely easy and was notified of the movement of the items. As a matter of fact, i got my package earlier than detailed by a day!
I took them out of the package and looked them over and will either paint over the slight imperfections or put scenery of some type to cover it up or simply put the scratched sides away from view. I must say that I am completely happy with my purchase price and the trestle itself and will not hesitate to search the site when I am looking to add to my layout and will recommend to others.Used Marklin 8821 DB AG cl 213 Diesel Loco
Deceptive Advertising and no Customer Service
I bought a used Z-scale Locomotive they said was in C7 condition. When it showed up it didn't work. I took off the cover and found the ends of the circuit board broken with a glob of solder to make it work. They also soldered the capacitor but it was a cold solder joint. It did run ok after I fixed the cold solder joint. But the condition is C4 at best and the lights will never work on it. They advertise 2 business days to answer back for customer service, but it has been over 8 business days, I have contacted both through website form and directly with email but have not heard from them. I called and got recording, waiting to see if they will call back. I want to return or exchange for an actual C7 locomotive, which it seems they have more than one. I should have paid more attention to the reviews, even though they overall are ok, for the last 10 months there have been more reviews similar to mine. I would not buy from them because you don't know what you will get. I paid a little more because I thought an e-store would be a little more honest about what they are selling, obviously not.Lionel O gauge parts

American Flyer assorted Freight car set

Had a issue with the locomotive - but Trainz customer service was awesome ! They went above and beyond to resolve the issue . They returned my call and answered all my concerns . I have total peace of mind when ordering from Trainz . Trainz is my go to place for train stuff.
Lionel aluminum Milwaukee Road Passenger Cars
After extensive searches everywhere I could think of, I finally found all four Lionel Milwaukee Road passenger cars 6-19185, 86, 87 and 88 in two separate purchases at Trainz. They were listed as Like New but all appear to me to be brand new. The price was fair and I am totally satisfied with all four cars. If I have any complaints it is that I chose FedEx Home Delivery because it was the least expensive. It did take a while for the cars to arrive. But, my complaint was with the FedEx tracking. They changed the arrival date four times back and fourth. Now, they may have had a problem; but, it was not mentioned on their tracking site. Overall, I have had a good reaction to FedEx. Not sure what happened this time.
Multiple buildings and rolling stock
I have enjoyed being a customer of Trainz, their website is well done, easy to use. They ship promptly and package to prevent damage. Their pricing is good on some items but overpriced on others. I frequently can get the same item cheaper from other sources.
