I’d go back to OxygenPlus — the used Sequel Eclipse 5 ran like a new unit, so I’m relieved. I was skeptical at first, didn’t expect much, but for daily home oxygen therapy it’s been solid. Setup was simple, all the hoses and filters showed up, nicely packed. Delivery was quick. Buying was straightforward, no weird hiccups, though I did double-check a few things over email. For the money it’s a steal compared to buying new. Mildly surprised, happy, would buy another used one with fewer reservations. Worth a shot if you’re on a budget.
Saw-it-at-my-brother's
the phone in the box went to a full mailbox, the email bounced, and the online number sent me in circles. Still, the thing itself does exactly what I needed and has held up day to day. Kind of glad I took the tip, despite the clunky support.
Surprising peace of mind
plug it into the lighter socket and it ran continuously while I drove, which honestly relieved me right away. With the concentrator and both batteries I get up to 3 L flow, more than I need for daily stuff. TTLife checked in and helped with a small setup hiccup, so my doubts faded. I'd buy again — wish the cords were a bit longer, that's all.
Small, quiet backup that actually works
I slept in the room instead of pushing the unit into the hallway. I bought it as a backup for a big, 30 lb condenser I've had for years that’s loud enough to be annoying. This one is compact and practical. It’s not flawless — the controls aren’t intuitive at first and if you put your ear to it you can hear a faint hum — but output and reliability have been solid so far. Setup took less than ten minutes and delivery was on time. Service was direct and honest. I moved the old noisy machine to backup status and have been using this one most nights.
Neighborhood tip gone wrong
I first saw the unit on a community board and a neighbor who helps seniors recommended it. I was skeptical — seemed pricey and I wondered if it would be reliable — but still ordered. It arrived OK. Plugged it in and it was noisy right away. Five minutes later the wrench light turned red and an alarm started, loud and nonstop until I shut it off. I called and left a message and emailed. Their answer was basically “plug it in and tell us what happens.” When I had time to try that, it worked for about thirty minutes and then the alarm and red wrench came back. We turned it off and haven’t used it since. I asked for a full refund and a prepaid return label. They said they don’t normally refund. Feels like poor support, especially for an older neighbor and a disabled vet. I can’t recommend them.
Finally a portable option that mostly delivers
it does most of what I needed. The battery lasts noticeably longer than those old refurbs I had — not magic, but noticeably longer — and it’s lighter than the tanks I used to lug around. It keeps my oxygen levels steady during the day, which was the big worry. It’s not flawless: the carry handle feels a little cheap and it makes a faint whirr sometimes that I notice in quiet rooms. But customer support at TTLife was quick to answer questions and shipping was fast, so that helped calm my nerves. Would I buy it again? Yes, with a caveat — if you need something utterly bulletproof maybe look higher end, but for the price and portability this one hits the sweet spot for me.
