product = solid and useful for what I needed, shipping/customer support = could be a lot better. If you need it fast and hassle-free, be prepared to follow up. I’ll buy again maybe, but I’ll keep photos and expect a fight if it’s damaged.
Early delivery won me over
I caught myself messing with the fan while my morning coffee cooled, thinking "here we go again" — I'd read about parts failing, so yeah, skeptical. The setup was actually simple and the delivery showed up a day earlier than they estimated, which helped since my seedlings needed airflow. When the fan started clicking after a few weeks, customer support answered quickly, walked me through troubleshooting, and sent a replacement part without a lot of hassle. The app's a bit clunky on my phone, and the tent has some light seepage at the seams, but overall it's made daily care easier — I check temps and tweak things while dinner cooks, pretty handy. Happy enough to buy again.
Refund stuck despite quick cancel
I canceled quickly and I still don’t have my money back — that’s the issue. I ordered a grow kit last week because I wanted something that would save time, but five minutes after checkout I realized it made more sense to buy the parts separately, so I immediately submitted a cancel and placed a new order. First impression of the site was fine — clear product pages, easy checkout — which is why I moved so fast. Seven hours later support replied saying they could stop part of the order but two items had already shipped; they said they’d try to intercept them and promised a full refund once those returns were confirmed. That actually surprised me — I appreciated that they tried to intercept shipments, felt like maybe this would be handled. Then silence for two days, so I asked for an update and learned there was a system glitch that sent the canceled items back into shipping. Fine, stuff happens, I get it. What I don’t get is why my refund is being held because of their internal error, and why calls go straight to voicemail with an automated “call during business hours” loop. Bottom line: reasonably impressed with the initial response and the intercept attempt, but frustrated and waiting on a refund that was promised after my prompt cancellation.
Kinda impressed by the lights, mostly annoyed by everything else
four AeroLights, the controller, two fans, the whole kit. Before buying I was worried about fit and support — worried I'd be stuck if anything went wrong. Turns out those worries were legit. The first box arrived and one of the lights that was supposed to come with the mounting bracket... didn’t. No bracket, so I couldn't hang anything. I filed a warranty claim on 12/23 and it took nearly two weeks to get the replacement part. Fine, annoying, but okay. Then I tried to install the rest and found the lamp hooks had been redesigned — shorter than the photos in the manual — so they don't meet in the middle like the guide shows. That made hanging the lights awkward and I had to rig something temporary. Also, the carabiners that come with the rope hangers are too small to clip into the roof bracket. The manual doesn’t even show that connection, which is wild. I called support a couple times and both reps basically said they’d email tech support and I’d hear back in 48 hours. No option to talk to a tech, no escalation, no manager — just wait for an email. After all that cash I sank into this system, that felt pretty unprofessional. That said, one unexpected plus: when the lights are actually running, the spectrum looks great and a panel does put out solid brightness — I was surprised by how nice they are once powered. So are my original doubts gone? Not really. The gear itself has promise, but the missing/incompatible parts and the support experience left me frustrated. If you’re thinking about this, ask lots of questions up front and be ready to troubleshoot or jury-rig. Might be fine for some, but be aware.
The case of the mysterious "label created"
no, I already reordered, cancel and send the confirmation number. No reply. I asked again the next day and then they sent me back a message saying they'd arranged shipment again with the same tracking number — as if I hadn't just told them to cancel it. At that point it felt like they either didn't read my emails or they really hope I'll just take whatever shows up. I wrote back asking why they shipped it after three cancellation requests. No answer. Radio silence.
One tiny highlight: when the first person admitted the mistake, they were straight about it — that was refreshing compared to other places that duck responsibility. But the rest felt robotic and lazy. The repeated canned apologies mean nothing when the company keeps doing the opposite of what you asked. I'm annoyed, a bit amused at how absurd it became, and honestly a little wary — this borders on bad practice, if not worse.
If you're used to companies that actually honor cancellations (shoutout to the one shop that refunded me instantly last year), this feels especially sloppy. Won't be going back, and I'd tell friends to be cautious. Lesson learned: reorder if you need it, but keep screenshots and don't assume "label created" means anything.
