too good to be true, and yeah, that should've been the hint. No confirmation came. No tracking. Emails and calls got ghosted. Their chat? Broken, would not connect. After a couple of days I got fed up and opened a PayPal dispute — best move. PayPal pushed for a refund and, surprisingly, my money came back a few days later. So the one good thing here is that PayPal worked. I'm relieved, honestly. I liked the price, but the communication and delivery were a mess. Won’t order again, but glad I didn’t lose the cash.
A phone call that saved a weekend
reroute to a nearby depot and refund the shipping so I could grab it myself. Ended up renting a van, picked everything up, and the refunded shipping more than covered the rental and gas — with change. The insulation itself was legit, fit as expected, and already made the living room noticeably warmer. Garry was quick, practical, and friendly, not pushy, which I appreciated. Small hiccup with delivery but the teamwork and the price made it worth it. Would call them again.
Finally got my money back, but it took too long
I’m relieved they refunded me, though the whole thing was a hassle. I ordered a single bundle of shingles after seeing the site say it was in stock — seemed straightforward and I thought, great, this will save me time. First impression was okay, price looked fine, site looked normal. Then they hit me with a surprise $100 shipping fee and after a week nothing had shipped. I called, they promised a refund in 12–14 days. That turned into almost 20 and radio silence on follow-ups, so I left a review and started nudging them on social media (and looked into filing with the BBB). Once I posted, suddenly there was movement and the refund showed up. So yes, action followed the review. I’m glad it ended well, but they really need to fix communication — customers shouldn’t have to escalate to get what’s owed. Overall a mixed bag: resolved, but messy.
Cancellation mess — watch the fine print
cancel only inside their stated window or be prepared to argue and save every confirmation email. The product itself would probably be fine, but the delivery and customer service side left me frustrated. I wish reps would be clearer and stop flip-flopping.
