I set the box on the kitchen table and opened it slow. The first look didn’t match the photos I sent. The clay felt lighter than I expected, the paint was a bit streaky, and the facial details missed the mark. The bobble action was fine — the heads wobble like they should — but likeness matters and that was off. I’d ordered three custom pieces and none were close. No proof copy was sent before shipping, they said they were too busy to make one. That annoyed me because I’ve ordered custom stuff from other shops before and they always send a mock-up; it would have caught a lot of these issues. I pushed back. They offered a refund, then a remake, then slapped a 40% restocking fee on the table. I declined. After almost a month of emails I threatened PayPal and sent a screenshot of their own policy that said wrong items would be replaced and shipping covered. Suddenly they asked about eye color, hair shade, skin tone — details that should’ve been asked up front. To their credit, two of the new bobbles came back noticeably better. Paint was cleaner, proportions improved, and the material felt sturdier. One still had a clear mistake though, and at that point I just took my money back. The whole process felt avoidable. Use this place only if you don’t mind arguing for what you paid for. There was an unexpected bright spot — the second try showed they can do good work when they actually follow the brief — but getting there was more effort than it should have been.
Not what I hoped for, honestly

That back-and-forth is what sold me — patient, clear, and not robotic. They didn’t rush me, and they were honest about what could be improved from the photo I supplied. Delivery was surprising in the best way. The box was solid, wrapped like it meant business, and showed up right on the date they promised. No crushed edges, no drama. The only small gripe: there’s a tiny paint imperfection on the left ear — you notice it if you lean in like you're doing quality control — but so far it’s only given coworkers something to tease me about, in a good way. In daily life this thing is a conversation starter, a little dose of amusement in the chaos, and yes, it’s extravagant for a boss gift, but worth the reaction. If I could change anything, clearer initial photo direction from me would’ve saved time — their team filled the gap nicely, though. Bottom line: good service, reliable delivery, a couple small flaws, but overall very glad I went for it. When I gave it to my boss, he laughed, then put it front and center on his credenza — proof the delivery and service actually mattered. Would I buy another one? Probably, but maybe not every year.
