Funny start — I almost didn't hit buy, I was wary of a small outfit and slow replies. I ordered on Dec 2 and paid $31 with PayPal. Waited a couple weeks, sent the contact form, got an auto-reply but no follow-up. Tried again after a few days, still silence. Used them once before and hoped they'd improve, but nope, won't try again.

    Got them, but messy

product was fine, process was sketchy. I bought a big batch of batteries last month for a volunteer event. First impression — site stock looked off and no one answered emails, my order sat pending for three weeks and that was annoying. After more messages they finally shipped and everything arrived intact. So overall still usable, but expect delays and poor comms, yeah.

    Weekend rescue

Ordered a Sony charger and a watch battery, then kinda forgot until the package showed up the same day — saved my weekend project. Shipping to Canada was fair, and everything was double-packed so nothing rattled. I opened and tested them that evening; both work fine, no drama. Didn’t need to deal with support, so no war stories there, but I’d buy again. Wish they had a bigger selection though.

Took a chance, glad I did

they lasted a solid day for me. Not perfect, but good value, and customer support was actually friendly and helpful when I called. Happy I tried them, saved me stress on the trip.

    Low price, messy rebates

first order came with one rebate form when three were required, second order arrived with no rebate forms (they said backordered), and only after six weeks did the forms show up. Then the form says one rebate per household even though the site says you can submit all three. I filled and mailed them separately, we'll see. Not the most professional handling, but the price keeps me coming back. For daily use the batteries are fine and the fast delivery matters.

    Muddled deliveries, fixed product

I ordered a cordless phone battery because my mom's landline died and I couldn't be driving around — I've been dealing with a sore back since a recent move, so I needed something that would arrive and just work. Right after ordering I got an email saying the battery was out of stock and to call customer service. I called, got talked into a substitute, and that substitute showed up and was totally incompatible. They did send the correct battery after that, which actually worked, and I returned the wrong one. Then, two days later, a huge box arrived at my door full of hearing-aid batteries with a packing slip for a customer in Atlanta — the label had my name and address but the paperwork was for someone else. So now I'm waiting on a return label to send that package back. Customer service ultimately sorted the product issue and were polite, but the shipping chaos and extra hassle leave me wary. I think they're honest, but I wouldn't rely on them for something urgent.

    That one ridiculously well-packed battery

I bought a replacement for an APC Back-UPS 650 and the thing showed up wrapped in bubble wrap, inside a box, inside another box, with paper and twine and a "TAMPER-PROOF" strip. It was kind of a pain to get into, sure, but honestly I appreciated it — you could tell someone cared about the shipment.
I’d avoided batteries.com because of what I read online, so I gave microbattery.com a shot and it worked out well for this purchase. The battery itself fit fine, weighed what it should, and the price — about $43 plus under ten bucks shipping across the country — felt reasonable for bringing a $150 UPS back to life. If that battery lasts like it should, I’ll be replacing a few more around the house with the same model.
One small gripe: later I wanted to buy a couple more batteries and their on-site search was pretty terrible. I had to resort to good old Google site search to find what I needed. That friction made me buy two other batteries from a different seller on Amazon. So, their product search loses them business, which is a shame because otherwise everything else was smooth.
Fast forward a few years and prices climbed on some discontinued models — bumped from about $105 to over $140 in one case — so I’m cautious now about long-term stocking here. But for this single swap, delivery and care were top notch and I was happy enough to recommend them if you don’t mind fiddling around to find obscure parts.

    Sunday unboxing surprise

the replacements were dead on arrival, wouldn’t charge at all. Their reply was that the AA stock had been sitting for years. Ugh. I’d already spent time installing and testing them, so that was frustrating. They refunded me after more back-and-forth and the people were polite when they did respond, just sloooow. So overall I’m cautiously optimistic — I liked the site, the idea of faster domestic delivery, and the fact they owned the mistake and issued a refund. But they need better inventory checks and quicker replies. I’ll give them another shot sometime, because the experience wasn’t all bad, but I’ll be watching for the “dead battery” outcome before I go all-in again.
