Flight delays due to sunny weather
Even though the weather was nice, my flight got delayed multiple times, and the final delay left me stuck on the runway. I ended up wasting a day and a half and a bunch of money because of it. And when I tried to get reimbursed, they said no, so now I have to go the legal route.
Flight ticket purchase
I just bought a flight ticket and was super pumped for my trip. However, when I arrived at the airport, they handed me a phony luggage tag number and I soon realized that they were actually swiping people's bags!
Air travel from Nuremberg to Zagreb via Belgrade on 15.3.2024
Our experience with this airline was terrible. When we checked in at Nuremberg, they didn't tell us about the 2-hour flight delay. Even though the plane wasn't full, they gave us a window seat without an actual window. The connecting flight in Belgrade was a nightmare. They sent us to the transfer counter where the staff was really unhelpful and rude. They couldn't even give us boarding passes for the flight that was 4 hours later. We had to leave the transit area, go through immigration in Serbia, check in again with Air Serbia, go through exit immigration, and then go back to the transit area. We didn't get any help during this whole process, which took 1.5 hours. And then the next flight was delayed by over an hour. I don't think there's a worse airline in Europe. We won't be flying with them again, no matter how cheap their tickets are.
Business travel flights
I've been flying with this airline a lot over the last 5 years, taking over 60 flights. Despite all the problems with the pandemic, they've kept essential business routes like LHR to BEG going strong. I gotta give them props for making sure flights are running, even if it sometimes means delays from too many planes being in rotation. The staff and customer service might not be top-notch by Eastern European standards, but they've always done right by me. The air lounge in Belgrade is a standout, making the whole pre-flight experience super comfy and pleasant. Most of my European trips with this airline have been smooth sailing, but I gotta say, their rewards program needs some serious work. All in all, I'm happy with how things have gone and I'll definitely keep booking with this airline.
Recent Air Travel Experience
I recently got to fly with an airline for two flights in Europe, each with a layover in a big city. The whole process went super smooth and was way better than I thought it would be in terms of service and help. Another time, my flight got canceled, but the airline's customer support team fixed everything right away without charging me extra or making it difficult. They handled the whole thing really professionally and quickly, making sure my travel plans stayed on track.
Flight experience
So, let me tell you about my last flight - total nightmare. We got delayed for hours, and when we finally got on the plane, it was obvious that something was wrong. And guess what? No backup plane in sight. The airline tried to make up for it by putting us in a hotel and promising a refund, but surprise, surprise, they never came through. So now, I'm taking legal action against them. Dealing with their incompetence is a total nightmare. Do yourself a favor and avoid them like the plague!
changed flight date, avoid this company to save your trip
Man, this company is just the worst! They went and changed my flight date without even giving me a heads up, totally screwed up my travel plans. No way I'm ever flying with them again.
Flight ticket issue
My flight ticket got changed outta nowhere, and I didn't even realize until about an hour and a half before I was supposed to fly out. Had to haul it to the airport and ended up with a new ticket for a Turkish Airlines flight. Then, 6 months later, the Airline Claims Team finally came through and decided to make it right by compensating me for all the trouble caused by the ticket switch-up. All in all, I gotta say, I'm thankful for the way the claims team handled things.
Positive Experience with Air Serbia - Reliable and Affordable
As a client of Air Serbia, I have had a generally positive experience with the company. The booking process is straightforward and easy to navigate on their website. The prices for flights are competitive and the in-flight service is good. The staff are friendly and helpful. On my most recent flight, the plane was clean and well-maintained. The only downside was a slight delay on the tarmac before takeoff, but the flight arrived on time overall. Overall, I would recommend Air Serbia as a reliable and affordable airline.
