Credit score improvement
My experience with Self has been really good. At first, I wasn't sure if it would actually help, but once I signed up and followed their advice, my credit score improved a lot. The platform is easy to use and gave me clear steps to manage my finances and improve my credit. I had some worries about the security of my account at first, but Self turned out to be reliable. When there was a problem with hackers getting into my account after adding a credit card, the customer service team fixed it quickly and made sure my account was secure. My recent customer service experience was a total letdown. I needed help, so I contacted customer service, but all I got was unhelpful and unprofessional responses. The people I talked to didn't seem to know much about how to fix my problem, and didn't really have the power to do much about it anyway. Instead, they just gave me some generic advice that might not even work. It was pretty obvious that the customer service was outsourced and the agents were just reading off a script, which made me even more frustrated. In the end, I was pretty disappointed and didn't get any solutions to my problems.
Credit builder account and credit card
I signed up for a credit builder account and got a credit card through them, and it definitely made a big difference in my credit score. Everything went smoothly in the beginning, but when I needed some assistance, it was a real struggle to get in touch with anyone. I tried sending messages, chatting online, emailing, and even calling, but no one ever got back to me. It was really frustrating!
