Loan deposit issue
I had a problem with the deposit for the loan I got from Self. Even though I paid off the loan, they kept my money for way too long. When I wanted to close my credit card to get my deposit back, they sent it to an old address, even though the loan was put into my bank account. This whole thing feels like a scam to me.
Credit improvement
Self has really changed the game for me. In just six months, my credit has gotten a lot better. It's awesome to see the progress and know that I'm moving in the right direction towards being financially stable. Before using Self, I never would have thought I could co-sign for an apartment for my son or get financing for a car. Self has opened up a ton of opportunities for me and I'm so thankful for that.

Yeah, so I purchased something online here and then my credit score took a hit, which really stinks, you know?
