Priority delivery delay
I've always liked using delivery services, and Postmates is usually my go-to. But my recent experience with their priority delivery service was a bit frustrating. Even though I paid extra for it, my driver decided to make a few stops before dropping off my order, making it 20 minutes late. Luckily, I saved the driver's route just in case, because when I contacted Customer Service about the delay at first, they didn't believe me. Only when I showed them the proof did they finally do something. Ended up fixing the problem through Uber, which was way easier than dealing with Postmates' customer service.
Fast delivery, unsafe drivers
The delivery service on this platform can be a hit or miss. Most of the time, my food comes on time, but there have been plenty of times where the driver totally ignores my request for priority delivery. It's annoying to watch them grab my food, drop it off to someone else, and then tell Postmates they just picked up my order. Plus, the crazy driving in my neighborhood is scary. It's a 10 mph zone, but I've seen a bunch of drivers flying through, risking pedestrians. One driver even said he needed to go fast to get hot food delivered. I'd rather my food show up warm and my neighborhood stay safe.
