I can't recommend relying on refunds here — it's been a slow, annoying mess. I started returning a few items over the past month and at first it looked fine: I printed labels, dropped parcels off, and the tracking showed delivered back to the sellers. My first impression was actually okay — returns scanned fast, and one seller even messaged me that they received the package, so I thought, great, that’s done. Then things went downhill. I uploaded return tracking, photos of the drop-off, and receipts for the shipping costs, exactly what the help pages say you should do, but the refunds were denied and my appeals were ignored. I kept getting automated replies, and real help didn't show up. It's frustrating because the carriers did their part and I followed the rules. On the plus side, delivery back to sellers was quicker than I expected — that surprised me. If this isn't fixed and I don't get my shipping refunded soon, I'll contact my bank and start chargebacks.
Finally got the return shipping refunded
not flawless, but the refund arrived and that made me satisfied. I'm thankful it ended that way, honestly.
Unauthorized charge, useless support
I won't use AliExpress again — they charged me £55.30 without my okay and their support was basically useless. I normally hit AliExpress for cheap phone cases and little accessories, nothing fancy, so I was surprised to see the charge for an order I never made. When I contacted them they kept insisting they needed all my card details before doing anything, which my bank said was completely unnecessary and made them uncomfortable. I told the bank and they were horrified that AliExpress customer service was asking for that info over email. In the end my bank had to file a dispute and got the money back; they treated it like fraud and are looking into it. AliExpress refused to help unless I gave sensitive info, so I had no choice. I'm relieved the bank sorted it, but annoyed at being put through the hassle and at how the reps handled it — slow, evasive and too demanding. Small comfort that I got refunded, but trust is gone. Won’t recommend them, and I’m pretty much done trying to save a few bucks here.
Strange unauthorized charge, slow help
the back-and-forth emails, the requests for stuff that shouldn’t be needed, and feeling like I was the problem. What I did like: the purchase interface works and tracking shows delivery info clearly when orders are real. My advice to others — don’t hand over card data to anyone claiming to be from the marketplace, call your bank first. I’m done using this seller for now and I’d suggest extra caution if you see unexpected charges.
Tiny victory after a long headache
Weird moment — I actually laughed a little when I saw the refund hit my card. Needed a replacement baby carrier fast because my back was killing me and hauling an 8-month-old around wasn’t cute anymore. I ordered the item, then had to return it because it wasn’t what I expected. Seller agreed to cover shipping, which sounded great... until the shipping was way higher than the item. I paid upfront, felt tense, and called AliExpress more than once. They kept saying I’d be reimbursed — which, to be honest, made me skeptical. I mailed the package and gave all the tracking info, waited and waited, and had to follow up again. The relief came when a different agent actually read my file, asked a few questions, and processed the refund. Unexpectedly, they also sent a small credit for the hassle. That moment — when the money showed up and someone sounded human on the phone — is when I knew it was going to be okay. It didn’t erase the extra trips to Canada Post or the stress, but it surprised me in a good way. So yeah, keep your receipts, be persistent, and don’t give up — it can end better than you expect.
Little safe, big relief
is it a toy? Will it break the first time I close it? Is the keypad even real? Typical paranoid shopper stuff.
A rough start, but not a total loss
the handle flexed under my thumb, the door had noticeable gaps, and the dial/pad felt plasticky. I’ll be honest, I half expected it to be a toy. The little inside compartment with its three-digit lock seemed particularly suspect — stuck on 000 and refusing to budge. I was annoyed. I even thought about returning it right away.
But I didn’t. I spent an afternoon tinkering with it, reading a couple of online posts (not the manual because, ugh, there wasn’t one in the box), and trying the combination sequence after watching a short how-to video. Turns out the combination lock can be set — it just wasn’t obvious and the buttons are stiff from factory. A little patience and you can get the main lock working smoothly. Not perfect, but it works.
One negative detail that really stands out is the handle — it’s cheap plastic and bends. If you’re picturing someone forcing this open and the handle breaking, yeah, that could happen. I ended up swapping that handle with a small metal one (took, like, ten minutes and a screwdriver) and suddenly it felt a lot less fragile. So my advice: if you buy it, plan on a quick tweak or two. It’s not the seller’s fault I’m handy, but still — a sturdier handle out of the box would’ve been ideal.
Delivery was actually pretty good. The package arrived on time and undamaged. That was one pleasant surprise given my initial doubt. Customer service was so-so; I contacted the seller about the stuck little compartment and they sent a short message with a basic checklist. Not super helpful, but they replied. So points for responsiveness, even if the answer was basic.
Quality-wise, this safe isn’t a bank vault. The door hinges and interior fittings are thin, and yes, if someone really wants to get in, they could. But for everyday household use — paperwork, passports, a few small valuables — I decided it’s acceptable after I made the small fixes. The internal space is fine for what I needed, and the keypad, once set, has been reliable. Little things like the cheap screws and the thin inner door still bug me, and I wouldn’t leave high-value items in it without extra precautions.
Emotional arc: I went from “this is a joke” to “okay, for the price and with a couple of tweaks, it’ll do.” I’m not thrilled, and I wouldn’t recommend this to someone who wants top-tier security, but for casual use at home, it’s a decent budget option. If you buy it, expect to fiddle a bit, maybe replace the handle, and don’t assume it’s impenetrable. The good parts: arrives intact, electronic lock functions after setup, and the internal layout is usable. The bad parts: cheap materials in spots, no clear instructions, and that little compartment was annoying until I figured it out.
Would I buy again? Maybe — but only if the price stays low and I’m willing to spend a little time improving it. If you want something turn-key and heavy-duty, spend more and get a vetted brand. If you don’t, this one can work, just don’t expect miracles. Not the disaster I braced for, but not smooth either
one was the wrong size, another had a visible defect, and a third just looked cheaper than in the listing. So yeah, initial disappointment. Not a total shock, but annoying. I started using one of the items right away — the one that was okay — and that’s when I remembered why I order from sites like this in the first place: price. But the others needed to be addressed, so I dove into the support process.
Not great, but not the worst thing I've ever bought
don’t count on this seller if you want a smooth, hassle-free experience — but also don’t freak out, a couple of things actually worked out in the end and I’m kind of relieved about that. I ordered a handful of bits a couple weeks ago because the price was tempting and I needed them for small home projects. First impression when the box arrived was “okay, that looks legit” — packaging wasn’t fancy but it wasn’t falling apart either — so I was cautiously optimistic. Then I started checking sizes and materials and that’s where things diverged pretty quickly from the listing. Some items were smaller than advertised, others felt like cheaper plastic than the photos led me to believe. So yeah, right away I felt misled, and that’s annoying.
House numbering digits
Strongly recommend not to use Ali Express, literally engaged in fraudulent trade practices. I placed an order for something which was very attractively priced. As I packaged my order with other items, I was not charged shipping fee. However, after 2 weeks the order was not shipped. So I contacted Ali Express online and they assured me the order would be shipped soon. Yet the very same day the order was cancelled. When I approach Ali Express to demand that order be delivered I was told to reorder. However, this time the seller had increased the price 10 times and also required to pay substantial shipping charges. Despite escalating with Ali Express several time they kept parroting that I should place the order again. I asked them how it was fair for a seller to increase price after confirming the order? No response. Yet the seller is still allowed to use Ali Express platform to sell the product at inflated price. Looks like Ali Express is complicit to this fraud.
fridge water filter
CHEAP KNOCK-OFF PRODUCT DOES NOT FIT - Industry standard Refrigerator Water Filter 2 - EDR2RXD1
Craig Hutton
AliExpress" advertises heavily online, including through Capital One Shopping: "An AliExpress deal for you". Low prices on knock-off products. I bought their standard Refrigerator Water Filter 2 - EDR2RXD1, a filter that fits many Whirlpool brands, including our KitchenAid fridge. The filter looks identical to filters that fit and has KENMORE prominently stamped on it. But the filter is just a little bit too big to fit into the fridge filter receptable. The filter receptable door wouldn't close ... filtered water wouldn't flow. AliExpress said to: "provide a valid quality inspection report from a third-.party company to confirm that the product quality issue was not caused by human error. Third-party inspection companies include: BV, TUV, SGS, CCIC". I sent photos/video but refund refused. So I just had a $40 lesson to not try to save money by buying from cheap knock-off foreign companies like AliExpress.Scammers ! I dint receive many orders
This app is real scammer. They give you one estimated delivery date, 80% of the case the orders don't come , but when you ask for your refund they just answer you that order is in transit and you can not get your money as a proof they give you fake tracking number what shows that order is somewhere ( of course not in the correct country) and of course if you check this tracking number you will find out that is FAKE and even you send all this to support and they agree that seller is scammer ... still you never get your money ! NEVER ! The are just scammers !
Bathroom mat and pillows
I had a really bad experience with my recent purchase on the platform. I ordered this bathroom mat that was supposed to come in 7 days, but the delivery kept getting delayed and pushed back. After a lot of annoyance, I ended up canceling the order and asking for a refund. To make things worse, not only did the mat get canceled, but all my other orders got canceled too without me even saying yes. And get this, I had ordered 6 pillows with the same order number, and when I tried to cancel just one pillow, all 6 orders got canceled. It was super frustrating and disappointing overall.
Cost-effective shopping platform
As a customer on this platform, I've found it to be a great option for buying stuff at cheaper costs compared to big online stores. They've got a lot of different products, and I've been able to find everything I need for way less. Sometimes things get here quicker than I thought, other times it takes a bit longer, but the money I save makes it worth it.
Fast and reliable purchases
I've been really happy with my recent orders from this website. The shipping has been super fast every time, and I've found the products to be really good quality. I did have a little problem with one item, but the customer service team took care of it right away. Overall, I've had a really positive experience.
Various purchases
As someone who shops on this online marketplace a lot, I've bought a bunch of stuff and it's been mostly good. The things I've gotten are usually good quality and what I expected. One time I had a little problem with a cheaper item, but customer service took care of it right away and I was happy with the way it was handled. I can't say for sure how it goes with pricier stuff, but for the less expensive things I've bought, this site is dependable and you can trust it.
Questionable refund process
I bought something from this seller and had a pretty bad time trying to get a refund. They kept saying they would refund me but then AliExpress kept denying it. It's really annoying feeling stuck in the middle of their argument.
Various items
As someone who shops on Aliexpress a lot, I gotta say, I'm always amazed at how much they keep stepping up their game. One thing that really sticks out to me is how much faster the shipping times have gotten. It's like night and day compared to before. This is a total game-changer for me because I don't have to sit around waiting for weeks to get my stuff anymore. And the way they package my orders now is top-notch. It's clear they're really focused on making sure my stuff gets to me in perfect shape. All those little details in the packaging show me they really care about keeping their customers happy.
Smartphone case
Why keep making rich companies even richer by buying expensive stuff when you can find the same good stuff for way cheaper on this site? Aliexpress has lots of products, like the phone case I got, for prices that are up to 100% lower than regular stores. The case is just as good as any other brand, and I'm super happy with it. Let's say no to high prices and help out cheaper options worldwide.
Makita battery, poor quality, lack of refund
I'm a customer of AliExpress, and I recently bought a Makita battery from a seller on there. Unfortunately, the battery didn't hold a charge and seemed to be low quality. When I told both the seller and AliExpress about it, they didn't really help me out or want to give me a refund. The seller came up with a bunch of excuses that weren't true, which just made me unhappy with the whole situation. It's a bummer that the Fair Trading Act or Consumers Guarantee Act didn't really help in this case, showing that AliExpress doesn't really prioritize customer satisfaction. Overall, I wouldn't recommend shopping on AliExpress. I think it's better to buy locally for better customer service and to ensure you're getting good quality products.

AFFORDABLE AND DECENT QUALITY
I usually purchase from here as they have really good collections in buying products and for bulk orders, they are the perfect option. Also the price is always lesser as compare... Read onBy: Mariana Hall
