I almost didn't order — price seemed weird and I worried about fakes, but needed a helmet for my daily commute. Took the chance and honestly it's legit, comfy, and I rode with it today. Kind of surprised and pretty relieved, to be honest.
Moment of relief
Opened the box and right then I knew it was worth it — the jacket matched the pics, fit fine, and the zipper works. I've had issues with other shops before, so this felt refreshingly straightforward. Not perfect packaging, but solid overall.
Low-key great range
Arrived on a slow Tuesday and felt at ease — lanes are roomy, gear looks solid and well kept. Staff actually explains things without being pushy (nice). Ammo was a little pricier than online, so I bring my own sometimes — it's reassuring. All in all a solid, reliable spot I’d recommend.

Dawn field test
I remember standing by the truck at dawn, slipping the new jacket on and realizing, yep — this is what I ordered it for. Needed something for long upland walks (my knees and lower back act up) after a couple of disappointing buys, so I was cautious. Bought two pairs of Muck boots and a Banded jacket for dog walks and chores around the yard. The site marked them as open-box and said what was wrong, so I was a bit skeptical, but customer service answered my question fast and delivery showed up the day they promised. Boxes were dented, gear works great, price was fair — using them every day now, no fuss.
Wrong delivery, no support
I ordered a piece of outdoor gear I count on for weekend hikes and dog walks — stuff I use almost every weekend. The package was left at the wrong house and apparently can’t be recovered. GritrOutdoors only insured $100 on a $200+ purchase, I sent proof and asked for a replacement and got silence. Then a canned reply to my follow-up — I mean, no real help. The item itself would’ve been useful, but the delivery mess and lack of proper customer service spoiled the whole deal.
Wrong gear, slow service
Honestly, I'd skip this seller unless you're ready for a hassle. I needed these skis with bindings for a short trip — my old pair snapped and I had only a couple weekends left in ski season — so I was stressed. They showed up without bindings, which is the whole point, and when I asked for a partial refund, different skis with bindings, or the missing bindings, the seller flat-out refused to help. On top of that they promised delivery by Tuesday but didn’t even ship until two days after that, so timing was ruined. Skis are fine, so it wasn't worse, but returning them has been a pain.
Good price, odd shipping
marked shipped at 12:00am, then again at 2:34pm the same day — how does that happen? The company sent a pretty canned reply which felt odd, like... who’s packing at midnight? Not worth the hassle

There’s some minor frustration mixed with resignation here — it’s not worth repeating the same struggle. If you value smooth customer service and dependable returns, I’d look elsewhere.
Outdoor gear purchase
I bought some outdoor gear from Gritr Outdoors recently, and I have to say I was pretty disappointed with the quality. It was obvious that the item had been opened before, but they didn't mention that in the listing. Plus, there was a damaged lace hook that they didn't tell me about either. I feel like they tricked me as a customer, and now I'm definitely not happy with the whole experience.
Camping tent
I just bought a camping tent from this store and let me tell you, their prices are amazing. I got the tent I wanted on sale and it was the best price out there. Gritr Outdoors always has awesome deals and it's my favorite place for outdoor gear.
Shooting range visit
I went to this shooting range and it was awesome! They had everything I needed and the prices were decent. The staff there were super friendly and they helped me figure out what I needed. The ammo was a bit pricey, but it wasn't too terrible.
Defective Items
I recently bought some things from this store, and can you believe they were all broken! Like, really? Who sells faulty items? So, I gave them a call to see about getting a refund or exchange, but they were no help at all. They just kept saying to go back to the store. It's so frustrating! And I saw a ton of negative reviews online saying the same thing. Ugh, I won't be shopping there again!
