5000 BTU Air Conditioner
I got this 5000 BTU air conditioner for my small bedroom and it fits perfectly, but man, it's noisy! It works fine, but the noise is pretty annoying, especially when I'm trying to sleep. Good thing I read reviews before buying it, so at least I knew what to expect. One thing they could do to make it better is add adjustable fan speeds to lower the noise.
Beverage cooler
This company only does emails, doesn't get back to you. It's so frustrating, had a problem with my drink cooler and they ignored me. Found out Amazon sells their stuff, but that doesn't help when you need company help. After lots of time, they did send a new cooler, but I had to toss the old one. Not much of a warranty in my opinion. Ended up shelling out $110, way too much for something that should have been covered.
Air conditioner purchase
I bought an air conditioner from Homelabs on a different website and got one that didn't work from the start. But when I tried to reach out to them by email and phone, there were a bunch of problems. The link in their email didn't work at all, so I couldn't send any extra info or papers. And the phone number they gave wouldn't even take calls, so I couldn't talk to anyone. All this left me wondering if Homelabs really cared about helping their customers.
Window AC purchase
I can't believe how ridiculous this company is! I recently bought a window AC from them, thinking I was scoring a great deal on the perfect size unit. But, when it showed up at my place, the measurements were way off! I shot them an email, since it was the only way to get ahold of them, and asked for a return for the right size unit. To my surprise, they told me they don't even sell that size anymore and the measurements on their website were wrong. How can a company mess up so badly and then try to blame me for it? Their customer service is a total joke, and now I'm stuck with an AC that doesn't fit my window. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this company!
Portable AC unit replacement
My portable AC unit that's 3 years old stopped working, so I called customer service to ask about the warranty. Even though it was out of warranty, they said I could get a 20% discount if I bought a new one from their store or Amazon/website. But their store always ran out of stock, so I had to order from Amazon. When I tried to use the 20% discount, they didn't accept it because Amazon wasn't considered an "official" store. It's frustrating when companies don't keep their word, which makes customers doubt how they do business.
Homelabs 15000 BTU Air conditioner
Purchased an air conditioner through Amazon.com, seller is Homelabs.com. They responded via Amazon, asked for more information. This link does not work, and does not allow attachment of information request. After posting a video of the unit malfunctioning, got an email. Same thing they allegedly want more information. I have all, but he email will not allow response. I check for the company location and email, looks like New York, but unclears. The phone number they give says no longer accepting calls. There is no way to actually contact them or respond to request for information. Amazon says they will not take returns, company says they will send a new unit, but not way to actual contact them or speak with anyone. I cannot find the actual address for mailing or the real phone number.
This appears to be an intentional scam to prevent consumer form seeking any remedy, while giving the appearance they operate in good faith?
Information asked for below. I have documents to support all that is said above, including a video of the unit malfunctioning.
