Overall it's decent but not perfect — a friend tipped me; I bought it after seeing it on their site. One pocket had two identical snaps so it wouldn't close. Support wanted $50 return shipping, so I sewed it shut.
Smooth leather, solid surprise
the owner replied to my question himself in a couple of hours. Feels like buying from someone who cares. If you're on the fence, just try it — you’ll probably be pleasantly surprised.
The bag I never meant to keep
the company seemed set on email-only support, which is fine for simple stuff but not great when you want a quick back-and-forth. I sent a couple of messages explaining I didn’t order it and why I couldn't use it, and then waited. Days. Then I got a voicemail (nice surprise) from a rep who said they'd help if I reached back out. I missed the call — life — and left two follow-up voicemails and another email. Crickets. Not ideal. Delivery itself was fine — parcel arrived when they said it would and in good shape — so thumbs up there. What changed my tune was a phone call a week later from a different person who actually seemed to get it: they offered an exchange for a softer-strapped model and even walked me through the return label. The whole “ignored” feeling turned into relief. Still, the process felt clunky: if they were more flexible up front or had an easier way to talk, this would’ve saved me time and stress. Pricing felt average for what you get — not terrible, not a steal. Final take: if you hate waiting on email chains, this might frustrate you. But if you can be patient (and persistent), their team can make it right. I’m a little wary going in, but satisfied coming out.
Bag with two same snaps
I was really looking forward to using this bag I got, but then I noticed that one of the pockets had two identical snaps. It didn't make any sense to me. So I reached out to the company about it, and they expected me to send it back so they could fix THEIR error. Can you believe that? And on top of that, they wanted me to foot the bill for shipping! I decided to just sew it closed on my own. It was a major letdown, to be honest.
Buffalo Messenger purchase
I got the Buffalo Messenger bag and I was seriously impressed by how well-made and high quality it is. It's not often that you find a company that creates such amazing, handcrafted leather goods. The way it was packaged was really nice and made getting it even more special. The price for the bag was totally fair, especially with the quality being so top-notch.<br><br>The shipping was crazy fast, it came through FedEx Ground. And when I had a question, the customer service team got back to me super quick. It's really nice to see a company that cares about their customers and goes out of their way to give great service. I'm completely happy with my purchase and I'll definitely be coming back for more in the future.
Modest experience with Kodiak Leather
I recently purchased a leather wallet from Kodiak Leather and I have to say, I am quite pleased with my purchase. The wallet is well-made and feels durable. The leather is soft and has a nice smell to it.
One thing that I really appreciated was the customer service. I had a question about the wallet and the representative I spoke with was very helpful and knowledgeable. They were able to answer my question and even provided some additional information about the company and their products.
The only downside to my experience with Kodiak Leather is that they do not have any physical stores. I prefer to see and feel a product in person before making a purchase, so not having the option to do so was a bit of a disappointment. However, the convenience of being able to order online more than made up for it.
