So, this one was annoying but not the end of the world. I bought swim shorts through Lovethesales and used their online return portal — label printed, dropped the parcel off, everything seemed normal. A couple of weeks later I chased the refund and was told the supplier they used for that item refuses to refund swimwear for hygiene reasons. They then told me to get my money back through the retailer via my bank. Which is odd because my card shows the charge from Lovethesales, not the third party. I tried to explain that they gave me the return option with no warning about non-refundable swimwear, and they just said it wasn’t their problem. Also nobody sent the shorts back or asked what I wanted done with them, so I’m left in limbo with an item that technically belongs to me. I’ve spent quite a bit with them before and usually things went smoothly, so this was disappointing. The one positive was the return label was easy to generate — that part worked. Overall it’s not a total disaster but don’t expect help if a supplier hides a no-refund policy for swimwear. It was a small order (WEB36763) but still felt like I wasn't listened to — and that's annoying when you've been loyal.
Sizing mix-up on what seemed like a straightforward order
I bought a DSquared pair because I needed something reliable for a trip — nothing fancy, just wanted the fit I wear (I usually take a 32). The jeans arrived and were labeled 46, which obviously didn’t fit. I messaged customer service and Nova Clothing replied saying 46 equals 32, which is fine if that were true everywhere, but the product page on the site shows 48 as 32. So I’m left puzzled. I had to pay postage to send them back, which annoyed me — I mean, I can tolerate a mistake, but not when I cover the cost. On the plus side the denim itself felt solid, weighty in a good way, so I was actually surprised by the quality despite the headache. Customer service was reasonably quick to answer, but they stuck to the same line and didn’t resolve the contradiction or offer return postage. That lack of correction is the problem — it makes the site unreliable. If you sell designer sizes that don’t match your chart, update the info or at least accept returns without making the buyer pay. Overall useful fabric, poor sizing info and return handling. I’ll give them another shot if they fix the charts or refund postage next time.
