I've been using Intel NUCs and small PCs for a while now, and let me tell you, this mini desktop replacement is a total game-changer. I gotta say, the portable gaming and streaming PC I bought is awesome for watching videos and streaming, plus it can handle gaming pretty well. I've been able to play Diablo 4 without any issues, although I do have to mix up the settings a bit. My main PC with a 6700 CPU still outperforms it in gaming, but this little PC is perfect for when I'm on the go and want to game or watch shows. The only thing is, it can get a little warm during gaming, but it's pretty quiet overall. I think once we get some future GPU driver updates, it'll only get better!

Fastest computer for video playback and editing
The HX99G is seriously amazing! It's so fast, and video playback and editing is super smooth on this thing. I did have a little trouble opening the case to add some extra stuff, but once I figured it out, it was smooth sailing. The memory and SSD heatsinks are a nice touch, and installing them was easy. Setting up Windows 11 Pro and drivers was a breeze. The performance is outstanding - this thing is a powerhouse! And it's so quiet, sometimes I even forget it's on. Plus, the Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and tons of USB ports make it really convenient.
UM690 replacement
I just had to replace my UM690 unit from Minisforum after owning it for a little over a year. Their customer service team was super helpful in guiding me through troubleshooting and getting me set up with a new and improved model. The whole replacement process went really smoothly, and they even had a warehouse in the US for me to send back the old unit to. They also charged me a fair fee for depreciation when replacing it, which I thought was reasonable. In the end, I'm happy with the service and support I received from Minisforum.
Compact, Quiet Mini-PC Purchase
This Mini-PC is just the right size and it runs super quietly, which is great for where I work. But I do have to knock off a star because of this irritating problem. Every now and then, the whole system decides to reboot on its own, and boy, is that annoying. I've figured out that it happens when I connect my monitor through USB-C, and sure enough, it crashes after a few hours. I even tried updating the BIOS, but that didn't solve the problem. It's a real bummer that a cool machine like this has this frustrating flaw.
New computer problems
Since I got this new computer, it's been a complete nightmare. It keeps crashing with the blue screen of death no matter what I do. I've tried cmd scans, restores, memory scans, and reinstalled Windows 11, but none of that has worked. I even disconnected all external hardware, but the problem persists. The support chat is no help at all, they just keep cutting me off. It's been days of constant issues and running ineffective 'fixes'. This computer is just not up to par for what I need it to do.

Oh my gosh, Minisforum is seriously the best! They make these really cool tiny computers and now they have new tablets that are awesome too. I bought one of their mini computers and it's honestly the greatest thing ever. They're always releasing new stuff, always trying to improve. Plus, their customer service is top-notch and their prices are totally worth it. I love them so much that I've already bought 6 of their products and I'm definitely going to get more!

So, I decided to reach out to support and they got back to me quickly. They sent me a new fan that was a breeze to install. Now my mini PC is back to running smoothly! Mini computer purchase
I bought a mini computer from them, and it was a total nightmare. The computer kept crashing, and when I contacted customer service during the warranty period, they wanted me to pay a crazy amount for a replacement. On top of that, they expected me to pay for shipping the broken machine back. When I said no and asked for a refund, they tried to charge me even more than what a new computer costs. It's been a week and I still haven't received my refund, even though I've been reaching out to them every day. All they tell me is to "be patient," which is completely unacceptable.

Mini PC with external GPU compatibility

Let me tell you, this mini PC is just terrible. First off, when I tried to install 2 SSDs, I ran into a boot problem - and you know what? The company didn't even have a solution for me. And on top of that, the NIC port that came with the PC never worked from the start, and surprise, surprise, still no fix for it. And don't even get me started on the AMD GPU that keeps crashing, with no solution in sight. Plus, the USB drivers randomly drop off, so I have to keep restarting the unit multiple times. But wait, the worst part is when they offered me a refund, but only if I sent the defective unit back at my own expense, including customs. Can you believe it?
Mini PC upgrade for gaming
The Mini PC I bought was totally worth it! I went ahead and bumped up the memory to 32GB and threw in an extra M.2 drive, and man, did it make a difference! Dual-booting Windows 11 and Linux was a breeze, and this Mini PC is a beast - super fast and powerful. It handled games like a champ. Yeah, there were a few times it slowed down playing games at max resolution, but tweaking the graphics settings fixed that right up. Upgrading the CPU/GPU was a bit pricey, but totally worth it for the boost in performance.
