stretchy, light, holds shape, not scratchy. It makes me sit straighter, weirdly. Customer contact was messy — had to chase them, and again delivery took forever, but once the replacement showed up the product itself is a win. Happy to keep it, honestly. Kind of relieved, tbh.
Strange ad, relief later
I was half watching TV, feet up by the bay window, when the tracking said "delivered" — except there was no person, no box, nothing. The ad on Facebook made it look like Lane Bryant and I fell for it, thought it was my usual order for weekend jeans I wear all the time. I emailed the seller and heard nothing, but when my bank processed a chargeback a week later, that’s when I finally felt satisfied. Small relief, really. Still annoyed, but at least the money came back.
Found the one that saved my back
soft leather that loosened up after a day, the strap sits nicely across my shoulder and actually eased the strain on my back during long days walking. Packaging had a tiny crease and shipping took a bit longer than I hoped, but the whole process was easy, human, and I’ll shop here again when I spot something.
Postcard from Italy
I ordered a mattress topper because my lower back started yelling after a move. Tracking said it left Italy three weeks ago and then everything went quiet. FedEx told me Modes never sent the customs paperwork, so my box is basically on a long vacation. I called FedEx and, weirdly, the rep was helpful — walked me through the issue and filed notes. Modes? I emailed four times, left voicemails, and heard nothing. Maybe they’re slammed, maybe not. I needed this for sleep, not drama. The surprise was FedEx actually trying to help instead of shrugging. Still, silence from Modes makes me wonder if I’ll ever see the topper. Oh, and customer service hours seem made up. I’d rather have an answer than silence.
Strange little saga with a decent outcome
delivery was a flop, but service tried to make it right. I’ll probably give them another shot if pricing stays good and they sort out shipping.
Clothing items
I had a super annoying time trying to finish up my order. I called and they said I had to sign up first, so I did that. But now I'm not even sure if my order went through or not. So now I'm just waiting to see what happens. On a better note, I got my stuff super quick in just 4 days, which was awesome. Shoutout to the store team for that!
Prada shoes purchase
I bought a pair of shoes from this company recently, and man, let me tell you, I ran into a major problem. When I tried them on at home, I noticed right away that the insole was way too small for the shoe. It was super uncomfortable and basically made the shoes useless. So, I reached out to the company to explain what happened. At first, they seemed cool about it, asking for pictures to see what was up and promising a refund. But once they got the shoes back, they totally flipped the script and said no refund for me, even though it was totally their mistake. I was really disappointed and felt like they were unprofessional. I ended up finding another way to get my money back and wanted to warn others about buying from them.
