Started skeptical because mystery boxes can be hit or miss. I grabbed two inshore saltwater pro boxes for weekend trips. At home I found one was actually a bass mystery box. That annoyed me, not what I paid for, but the other box was spot on and the gear helps with my daily bait prep. Mixed feelings.

Handy fishing surprise
Solid little gift, and I mean solid. Got this box from my wife and it's already part of my weekend kit. It had a mix of lures, baits and hooks and a QR that links to a quick how-to video. Some pieces felt a bit repeaty and the packaging could be neater, but overall useful for after-work or weekend trips.
Still my go-to box
I keep the subscription because it actually delivers useful stuff, even if it’s not perfect. Lures are varied and usually good quality, and the tips are legit. Shipping was quick. I’ve tried a few competitors and they felt cheaper. Minor misses sometimes, a duplicate lure or two, but honestly overall solid and reliable.
Subscription box full of Googan baits
I just got this subscription box full of fishing baits, but turns out it's all Googan baits in there. Kinda bummed since I was looking forward to getting some higher quality stuff like Vision 110 or JDM baits that are more sought after. I can easily pick up Googan baits at D's Sporting Goods anytime, so why dish out the cash for a whole box of them? They're everywhere already!

Oh my gosh, so I decided to give this fishing tackle box subscription a shot, you know, thinking it would be awesome! But each month, they just kept sending me the same things all the time. I never got those really awesome lures I was hoping for. And to top it off, there was a coupon code they offered, but it didn't even work on the good stuff because it was already pricey! And get this - they ended up renewing my subscription without my approval, so now I'm stuck with more duplicates and expensive items. Save your money and pass on this one!

I recently signed up for the Elite Box 6-month subscription and I have to admit, I was really let down.
