Almost avoided a meltdown March 27, 2026

I'm relieved it didn't blow up into something worse, but the whole experience was a proper stress bump right before baby time. I ordered a much larger size on purpose because, well, unborn-bump math — figured I'd actually wear it. The item showed up late, so the outfit never made it to the event I bought it for. That sucked. I called to sort it out and got told there’s no returns on sale items. I explained, calmly-ish, that I'm due any day and won't be this size again, and that this was more than a wardrobe gripe. The rep — Parrisa — basically stuck to the script: no flexibility, no goodwill. It felt rigid and kind of cold, especially after six years of me buying from them and spending quite a bit. I work in a place where we try to bend for loyal customers in odd situations, so maybe I'm spoiled, but the difference was striking. I'm grateful it didn't spiral — I had a backup outfit and some friends who cheered me up — but still, being dismissed like that while waddling around in late-pregnancy mode was not great. If I could give one tip to the company: train for empathy and maybe make an exception now and then. To other shoppers: order earlier if it's important, and maybe don't count on flexibility if something is on sale. I’d hoped for a little human touch; instead I got policy. Still glad everything ended okay on the home front, but honestly, they could do better here.
