they fixed my old credit, but it wasn't flawless. I called because I moved back to the U.S. and remembered a store credit from years ago. The rep (Nancy) couldn't find my account at first—took a minute of me saying dates and digging. She said she'd forward it to another team and follow up. I half expected it to vanish into the usual corporate black hole (had that happen with other retailers), so I was pleasantly surprised when TW emailed me the same day and sent the actual credit the next day. Friendly people, efficient follow-through. Still, the system needs work; the agent struggled to locate an account that should've been easy to pull up. Overall relieved and grateful, but slightly annoyed by the extra hassle.
Demo roulette — left hanging
I went into the demo program with real doubts. It sounded useful, but I thought, do they actually have the rackets? I ordered three demos because one of mine had cracked and I didn’t want to be stuck. They said a couple weeks. A couple weeks turned into several, then radio silence. I cancelled and bought something last minute for league, which started the next week. The backup racket does the job, though it’s not exactly what I had in mind and I still worry about breaking strings. Customer service finally refunded me, so not all bad. Frustrating process. Useful outcome, but messy and avoidable.
Weird listing, but they fixed it
I actually knew I was satisfied the minute the right pair arrived — after staring at a confirmation that had a weird extra word and realizing the listing basically mashed two different Nike lines together. One is light and fast, the other is heavy and supportive, so yeah, confusing. Customer service was a bit flustered at first and it took a couple calls and a follow-up, but they offered to resend the correct model and processed things without drama. Not perfect — could've avoided the mix-up — but the replacement showed up and fit, so I’m okay with how it ended. Had worse with other retailers.
Left hanging for a last-minute gift
I ordered an e-gift for a friend while in the middle of moving and really needed it same day — short story, it did not happen. They told me on the phone (after I called two hours later) that the voucher has to go through two separate departments and could take 24–48 hours. That’s not what I expected; I’ve bought these from other places and usually get them within an hour. Customer service did pick up and was polite, but the delay and the whole "two departments" thing felt like a shrug. It’s frustrating because I rely on quick digital deliveries now, and this one messed up my plans. I was honestly annoyed and disappointed.
Weekend gamble paid off
nicely packed, no dings, and the racquet felt great on first practice — honestly better than I expected after all that waiting. So the logistics were shaky, no doubt, but the product and the follow-up tipped me from skeptical to satisfied. I’ll order again, just not for last-minute needs.
Peeling soles, mixed feelings
came on time, box undamaged, no drama getting it inside. After about two months of pretty light use the outsole was worn through and the upper had splits. I contacted the store and was told there's no outsole warranty and it wasn't eligible for replacement. They offered a one-time 20% discount but only on a full-price item, which felt like a push to buy again instead of fixing the defect. Skeptical, I reached out to Lacoste directly (I hadn't bought from their site) and they owned it right away — shipped a replacement without a fuss. Delivery was fine but the whole claims process was frustratingly slow. So yeah, pleasantly surprised by the brand, annoyed at the retailer. I've had better customer support elsewhere before, so this shop was a letdown. I'll stick with brands that actually stand behind their stuff.
Late-night racket test
not too head-heavy, nice in the hand. The grip is tacky without feeling gummy, strings have a crisp snap that gives decent control; you can feel the ball sit on the stringbed just long enough to place a shot. It’s not miraculous power-wise, more a workhorse that lets you pick your pace. A few serve tosses made the handle vibrate a bit differently than our old frames, so we added a thin overgrip and that smoothed it out. Customer contact was clunky at first — slow replies, some back-and-forth — but after I sent photos and stuck with it they agreed to a replacement option. So yeah, annoying process, but the end result was fine and I'm glad we didn't give up. If you buy this, don’t expect it perfect straight away; try it on court, tweak the grip or tension if needed. Would recommend for players who want a reliable feel rather than flashy power, and be ready to follow up if anything's off.
Almost skipped them, glad I didn’t
I was halfway between annoyed and resigned when my coach texted me a link to their racquet. Saw it on his feed and figured, why not — needed something for two upcoming matches. At checkout the site said it would arrive by Thursday, which would’ve been perfect. As the first match morning rolled around, no box. I called. The rep said they were swamped with stringing and the system hadn’t updated — fine, sigh, whatever. They promised Monday. I grumbled, started looking up other stores, because you don’t want to risk it. Then something shifted. A manager actually called me back, said they’d pulled some strings (literally), and overnighted it. It showed up Sunday evening. I remember unboxing it in the parking lot before warmups and thinking, okay, this is good — the balance felt right, strings were done well, and the grip was spot on. That’s the moment I went from skeptical to relieved. Not perfect — the timeline was messy and they could’ve communicated better — but they fixed it and even offered a small credit for the delay. Would I use them again? Yeah, I would. Just double-check delivery dates if you’re on a deadline.
