Three cardigans
I'm so excited about my new cardigans I got from the store! My top pick has got to be The Kilfane Waterfall Cardigan in Charcoal, which I snagged in a size 2XL so it would be nice and roomy for me to throw on as a Spring jacket. Let me tell you, this cardigan is gorgeous, cozy, and really well put together. I've gotten so many compliments on it and I just couldn't be more pleased with my buy. Huge thanks to the store for carrying such a great product!
Surprise cap for husband
I had such an easy time ordering and the delivery was super quick. My husband doesn't have much hair, so he needed a hat that would keep his head warm without looking like a baseball cap. He really likes the hat and has gotten some compliments on it too.
Authentic Australian wool blanket
Oh my goodness, this blanket is seriously amazing! It's like getting a big, warm hug from a koala. I had to have it because I wanted something real, and let me tell you, this blanket is the real deal. It's like a little piece of the outback cuddling me to sleep every night. The quality is top-notch, just like those hardworking sheep I saw in the shearing shed once. It's super cozy and soft, and you can just feel all the love and effort that went into making it. I feel like I'm part of the sheep now, just like those shearers. Thank you for sending me something so authentic and fantastic!
Quality clothing, loved by family and friends worldwide
I can't even begin to explain how blown away I am by the amazing quality of the clothes from this store. My whole family is obsessed with them now and they're a big hit with folks in the US as well as Australia and Scotland. The clothes are so well-made that they don't irritate your skin, which is a problem with a lot of clothing out there. The level of detail and craftsmanship is just top-notch, like something out of the past. Huge thanks to the creators for such fantastic work. Erin Go Bragh!
newsboy hat
Horrible customer service. I ordered a hat just prior to Christmas, and have not received any indication if they received the order...but my money for it has been taken. All I wanted was some acknowledgment, and if they can't fill the order, I want the cash returned to my account. Today is 1/9, and so far I still have heard nothing. I will never order from them again.
Hamper
Poor Customer Service:
My complaint has to do with the delivery process. I ordered a basket from the USA to be delivered in Ireland. I gave them the full address and they changed the air code during the shipping process. The hamper was delivered to someone in a nearby village who insisted it was his. He refused to give it to her.
My cousin had to argue and prove it was meant for her. She had no idea that I had sent her a Hamper for Christmas. Customer Service would not tell her who it came from only that it was coming from the States. What was meant to be a joyful Christmas surprise turned out to be nothing but aggravation. The least expected was an apology from their customer service department
When I reached out to Customer Service for the Irish store I received a trite standard response… thank you for shopping with us.
This transaction cause more aggravation for my cousin and for myself but I will not be using the Irish store in the future.Sweater
I ordered a sweater for my mother but never received a confirmation email and costumer service never responded to my emails.
Two Irish sweater dresses
The sweater dresses were advertised as being made of "super soft merino" yarn. "Super Soft" merino yarn is well-known for its non-itchy, luxuriously soft feel compared to other merino wool yarn. I have purchased many Super Soft merino wool garments made by Aran Woollen Mills (and other Irish garment manufacturers). However, the Irish Store sweater dresses are neither non-itchy, nor otherwise soft (but the knitting appears to be fairly good; hence, the two stars). It is not lost on me that their ad listing does not capitalize the first "S" on "super" or "soft" merino yarn - perhaps hoping for an interpretation of their subjective opinion of softness - bad marketing decision...
Several items
Ordered an item around Valentines Day for someone' birthday in late March. I received an email saying my items shipped. 2 weeks later it turns out one of the items did not ship and was on back order. It is now March 19th and still no word. Terrible service....
