G scale locomotive
I can’t believe for what they charge for used locomotives that they aren’t tested. I bought a used loco for 500 dollars and had to send it back because it didn’t run. The ad claimed it was in great condition. NOT TRUE. They didn’t have a suitable replacement and offered to repair the loco but couldn’t tell me how long that would take. I returned it for a refund and a bunch of wasted time. Horrible experience. It would take 15 seconds to test the things you sell. Don’t say things works properly when you don’t test what you sell first.

Lionel H15-44 locomotive
I have been buying O scale rolling stock and engines from Trainz now for almost 3 years thru their website or Ebay. They have been very honest and dependable. When it comes to their grading system on used merchandise they have been spot on. I will continue to deal with them in the future. I can't say enough good things about them!

one bad experience with delivery tends to make you leery...especially when it's your first purchase...they did work hard to correct it though...so there is that...
American Models and American Flyer S Gauge trains
I always receive items as described and greatly packaged.
What I have problems with is they use FEDEX as their shipper and FedEx likes to keep packages in Georgia 5 to 7 days after receiving them to continue the package on they way. I don’t or can’t figure out why they do that?Lots of rolling stock and engines.
Their services and prices have been where I needed them to be and I enjoy looking through their website for more deals. I highly recommend them.
O scale trains from time to time
I have ordered several times from Trains, enough to subscribe to their premier membership. I like their specials where if you spend a pre determined amount there is free shipping. Always look forward to a package from Trainz!

Product selection is very good and their customer service is outstanding.
I've bought a couple of different HO scale passenger cars.
I model modern day Amtrak, and I have found that Trainz has a really good selection of new and used rolling stock. It was easy to order, they kept me updated on the progress of my orders, and they delivered the exact product as advertised. Their packaging has been spot on. Their prices are pretty reasonable, I only gave them a 4 because they do charge market prices for harder to find cars ( I am looking at you, Walthers Viiewliners! ) and a 4 on shipping because the only lower cost options were through FedEx, which has been terrible compared to UPS and USPS service. Overall, the experience was terrific and I will definitely order from them again.
Lionel Prewar and Postwar Trains
The Trainz.com service is excellent! You have a wide variety of products at competitive prices. Customer service is very friendly, and the process of filling orders is very orderly and well communicated. The only thing I would suggest a change is to provide more shipping options than just FedEx. Every time I order through Trainz, FedEx never hits their own targeted delivery date and goes for several days with no update. Packages have always arrived eventually, usually >1 week after shipping.
