Order not delivered
I'm really bummed out about my recent purchase. I've been waiting forever, like 6 weeks, only to find out it's getting sent back because it couldn't be delivered. And to top it off, they're only giving me a refund minus the postage costs. The customer service people have been so unhelpful and it's just not right.
Birthday gift mishap
I bought two gifts from this website for my son's birthday, but there was a problem with the shipping address. I tried reaching out to them a few times to correct it before they shipped the items, but they never got back to me. When I did manage to get through, the automated voice system disconnected me after a short wait. Now my son won't have his gifts on his birthday, and it's really disappointing. I hope they improve their customer service to avoid situations like this in the future.
Two items in November 2021
I bought a couple of things from Vat19 back in November last year to steer clear of the holiday madness. Unfortunately, things went south when there was a mix-up with the delivery address. The package ended up making its way to the UK, but the carrier couldn't deliver it and it caused a lot of frustration for me. Even though the Vat19 site said the package was delivered on December 15th, it wasn't. Instead, the carrier sent it back to the USA, making things even more complicated. I tried reaching out for updates several times, but I didn't get any answers, leaving me in the dark without a solution. Eventually, Tracey was nice enough to give me a refund, but the whole situation was really frustrating and now I'm feeling hesitant about ordering from Vat19 again in the future. If you do decide to order from them, I suggest making sure Yodel isn't the carrier to avoid running into similar issues.
Laser tag set
I recently bought a laser tag set from this company and it was a terrible experience. The set arrived late, which was annoying, but I could overlook that. When I tried to use the guns, they wouldn't turn on. I reached out to customer service and they asked for video proof of the defect. I thought that was ridiculous because no other company has ever asked me for that. I sent in a video, but because I had to briefly put my phone down to grab a tool, the agent was not happy and demanded another video. I felt like I was being put on trial just to get a refund for a broken product. I'm so frustrated with this situation that I'm thinking about reporting them to the BBB. Save yourself the hassle and shop somewhere else where they will treat you better.
Confusing pricing
I'm really confused by the prices on this website. It feels like a guessing game trying to know the actual cost of something. It keeps changing constantly, which is really frustrating. Vat19 needs to be more consistent with their pricing!
Large surprise box
I bought the big surprise box for my grandson's birthday again, but I was pretty let down with what I got this time around. Inside the box, there were just three little balls, some throwing cards, and a handful of different candies to eat. I paid $107.00 for it, so I was expecting more stuff and better quality. My grandson wasn't as thrilled as I thought he'd be, and I won't be buying that box again. The things inside seemed cheap and not worth what I spent.
Three Orders
Vat19 has really stepped up and made safety a top priority during this pandemic. They've had just one person - the company president - working in the warehouse since March 22. It's a clear sign that they care about keeping everyone healthy and safe, and it shows they're leading by example. As a customer, I'm grateful to know they're taking proactive steps to stop the spread of the virus.
Small mystery box review
I picked up this little mystery box back in April and man, was it awesome! Packed full of cool things like gummy treats and other surprises. But then I decided to get another one for my nephew in August and it was a major disappointment. All it had was Dr. Pepper Twizzlers, which I could have easily bought for him at the dollar store. They claim it's a better deal to buy the mystery box, but honestly, the prices are just jacked up.
Awesome Warehouse Visit
Oh my gosh, that visit was seriously the best ever! We got to check out all the sets and meet our favorite YouTubers in real life. They were super nice and even signed autographs for us. And on top of that, we got to snag some really awesome merchandise from the warehouse. It was definitely worth it for such an amazing experience. Big shoutout to Jamie for making it all so incredible!
Giant stress ball purchase
I just bought this huge stress ball, and let me tell you, I'm really impressed with how good it is. It's the perfect size for getting rid of stress, and the feel of it is just so satisfying. I live in Genova, and I was a little nervous about how the delivery would go, but everything went perfectly and my package arrived right on time for my birthday. I definitely suggest this product to anyone looking for a fun and effective way to relieve stress.
50$ Mystery Box Purchase
I decided to try out the $50 mystery box, thinking I might get some cool and interesting stuff. Turns out, I was pretty disappointed with what I got. One of the items, this squishy slug thing, was supposed to be worth almost $20, but honestly, it wasn't worth much at all. Everything else in the box was pretty boring and seemed old-fashioned. I was hoping for better quality and more unique items from the mystery box.
Mystery Box Purchase
I bought two mystery boxes from this company for my kids as a fun surprise, but I was disappointed to see that they both had the exact same items inside. It took away from the excitement I wanted to give my children. One of my kids was especially bummed when he saw that his box was identical to his brother's. The company's offer to give me store credit if I sent the boxes back at my own cost wasn't a good solution to the problem.
Tie-Not, magic straws
My son watched a video about the Tie-Not and was really interested, so I bought it along with some magic straws. But the total ended up being way more than I expected because of extra fees. When the package finally came to the UK after a long wait, we found out that the US hose fittings didn't work with UK fittings. So, the whole purchase was a waste. The company should think about these country differences to make sure customers aren't let down.
Unfortunate fortune cookies
I just bought some fortune cookies from that store and man, let me tell you, they were surprisingly good! The messages inside were so funny and the cookies were tasty and crunchy. I definitely suggest giving them a try if you're in the mood for a fun snack.
Mystery Box Disappointment
I just ordered 2 mystery boxes for my kids, but honestly, I was kind of let down by what was inside. It just seemed like they were trying to get rid of stuff that doesn't sell - mostly just food. I was hoping for some of the cool stuff I've seen online, but no luck. Even the packaging was boring - just a plain brown box with nothing special on it.
Fireplace candles
The candles from the Fireplace collection used to be really nice, but the most recent ones I got were just awful! They left behind so much wax and had hardly any wick left. When I reached out to customer service about it, they basically said it was my fault for not burning them correctly. I mean, I used the same method as always! It's really irritating that they wouldn't own up to the fact that their product quality was lacking. Now I have to toss out my remaining candles. What a letdown!
Surprise trip for our grandsons
We decided to surprise our grandsons with a trip to this amazing place because they're always watching videos about it on YouTube. They were so excited and thought it was a perfect way to end the summer before school started back up. We felt like the best grandparents in the world that day! The staff was really friendly and awesome with all the kids. They did a great job!
Warehouse tour experience
The warehouse tour was awesome, we learned so much and had a great time. Seeing how they make the videos really gave us a new perspective and will make watching them even better. It was really cool to see all the hard work and detail that goes into making their content. Plus, getting to shop in the warehouse and grab some exclusive Vat19 stuff was a special treat. Overall, it was a fantastic day spent with my son exploring a different side of our favorite brand that we had never seen before.
Christmas gifts stolen
I ordered a bunch of Christmas gifts from this website but they got swiped from my porch right after they were dropped off. I was really bummed about it, but when I contacted customer service, they were so understanding and offered me a refund or replacement without any issues. Richard was awesome and really helpful throughout the process. Even though it wasn't their fault, they made sure to make things right and I'm grateful for that. I'll definitely be shopping here again!
YouTube merchandise
Our experience was amazing! We bought some YouTube gear for our kids and they totally loved it. They were so pumped to have stuff from the same sets they watch on videos. Meeting Jaime was a big deal, even though he was super busy and we couldn't snag a photo with him. All in all, it was a great time for our family.
