I wouldn't trust them with a simple day trip. I picked up a car that started shaking and threw a warning light within minutes. I called support and they basically said "leave it and get another one." So I did. Second car did the same thing. Third car finally worked. Time lost, stress up, and an extra €70 out of my pocket that day because I had to keep renting. Customer service later admitted the first two cars were faulty and gave a tiny credit, which felt like a win for a minute. Then, 12 days later, around €250 was auto-debited from my account for repairs. So they first say sorry, then charge you anyway. It felt like being blamed after you already paid. I’ve rented from other companies before and never had this back-and-forth nonsense, so that made it stand out more. I was skeptical the whole time, then briefly relieved, then annoyed again. Bottom line: be careful, double-check everything, and keep your receipts.
Not exactly "available" — almost fined at 4 AM
18 in the morning I booked a car that the app showed as available and I thought, okay, quick hop — looks fine. First impression: the app was easy to use and the map made it simple to grab the car. I didn’t expect to end up in a stressful situation with my partner in the passenger seat. The car’s battery dropped quickly into a limp mode while we were in traffic — the kind where the car shuffles along and warnings pop up. I tried to find a charger nearby, honestly I looked — at that hour every spot around was full or out of service. Driving forever in “turtle mode” isn’t realistic or safe, and it felt pointless since the app had let me start the trip in the first place.
I reached out to customer support and got a very standard, copy-pasted reply pointing to the terms, which was frustrating. They didn’t seem to accept that the system let a nearly-dead car be rented. Now they’ve put a fine on my account and suspended it while trying to take the money — that’s the part that really rubbed me the wrong way. To be fair, the vehicle itself didn’t break down completely and we did make it back without being stranded, but it was nerve-wracking and avoidable. So yeah, the service works sometimes, the interface is clean, but this logic — letting cars be “available” when they’re practically out of juice — is a dangerous oversight.
If you use it, check the battery level closely and maybe avoid late-night bookings unless you’re prepared to deal with a potential fine or a long search for a charger. I hope they fix the availability logic and train support to handle these cases better.Long day, worse rental experience
choose a day rate, hop in, get to work. I started the rental on a Friday morning and planned to drop it the same day, but work kept me late and I ended up holding onto it until Tuesday. First impression: smooth sign-up, okay car, app seemed straightforward — felt like a useful fallback.
Tight spot, tired patience
wrong name, no supervisor call promised, no closure. Nobody called me back like they said they would.
The car itself feels fine — drives decently and was in good shape — but the support experience made the whole trip more stressful than it needed to be. My takeaway: if you rely on this service because you don’t have a car, be prepared for inconsistent customer support and to push hard if something goes sideways. A simple follow-through on escalation and listening would fix a lot. I’d use the cars again for short trips, but I’d be cautious and have a backup plan in case support fails.
