Reservation at Concord Airport location
I made a reservation at the Concord Airport location not too long ago, and let me tell you, it was a total disaster. The person at the kiosk, for some strange reason, wouldn't honor my reservation that I clearly had. It really made me feel like they were discriminating against me.
Reservations, prepayment, unavailability
I am really disappointed in the car rental company. Twice this year, I showed up to get the car I already paid for and reserved, but they said they didn't have any available. It's just not cool that they didn’t bother to keep me in the loop or plan ahead. One time, I had to rush last minute to rent from another place, and it cost way more than what I already paid them. The people working there were rude and didn’t even say sorry, which made it even worse. But I want to shout out Leonie Spitz for being awesome and helping me out during all this mess.
Deceptive rental pricing
I got caught up in that classic scam where my credit card got charged instead of credited. And get this - it happened even when I went with a rental company that I thought was legit. I probably should have just gone with one of those smaller companies that had a lower weekly rate, like $120 or something. If I had done that, I bet when I got there they would have been like, "Sorry, we don't take debit cards" and I'd have to cough up an extra $300 on top of the $120. But no, I went with the big name company, thinking I was playing it safe. Turns out they pulled the same trick on me! I had to fork over an extra $310 just to keep my original $370 rental cost, so now I'm out $680 for the week. Gotta hand it to them, that was a pretty slick scam.
Excellent local car rental service
I really enjoy renting cars from the local spot because they always have the exact car I'm looking for. The folks who work there are so friendly, especially my buddies Chris and Sheridan. They make the whole process of picking up and dropping off the car super easy, and they always have it clean and ready to go. I definitely suggest this place to anyone in need of a rental car.
Car Rental Experience
I've been a customer of this car rental company for a long time, but my last rental was a total letdown. I dropped off the car where I was supposed to, only to find out it was stolen. Now I'm being hit with a bill for $1900 in damages. That just doesn't seem right to me. I did everything by the book and now I'm being blamed for something that wasn't my fault. The company should go after the people who actually stole the car, not stick me with the bill. It's not cool, especially since I've been a loyal customer.
Declined Payment Issue
I recently tried to rent a car online, but ran into some issues when I got to the location to pick it up. Even though I have a World Elite credit card, the car rental agency in Tours, France wouldn't accept my payment. They said it was because my bank is considered an online bank, which I thought was a bit much since I've used the card at other places in the same group before. Their Terms and Conditions said they don't take online banks, which seemed like a strict rule to me. Because of this, my security deposit went from 0€, covered by my credit card insurance, to a crazy 3000€. I didn't want to take that risk, so I ended up not being able to rent the car. And to top it off, I still got charged for the booking, even though it was the agency's strict policy that stopped me from getting the rental.
Car rental experience
I rented a car last week for a trip from Thetford to Malvern. When I booked it, I paid upfront with my Barclays account. But right before I picked up the car, they asked for a £200 deposit and I had to pay that from my Building Society savings account. They also pushed me into buying extra insurance, which I didn't know about when I first booked. When I brought the car back, there was a small piece of rubber missing from the tire, but I don't think I caused it. Even so, Enterprise Malvern went ahead and charged my Barclays account without asking me first.
Affordable pricing, damaged vehicle, hidden fees
I rented a utility vehicle from a car rental place for a day not too long ago. The price seemed great at first, but things went downhill fast. The vehicle I got was all banged up and filthy, definitely not in good shape. And to top it off, they hit me with a 40€ franchise fee right away, and said I could be on the hook for up to 2500€ for any damages - something they didn't make clear when I booked it.
Accident, insurance, points
Oh my gosh, I can't believe it! I got into an accident and my insurance only covered part of my rental costs. But guess what? Turns out I had over 5,000 points and ended up not paying a dime for a four-day rental ? The staff at the Dutchess Turpike spot in Poughkeepsie was amazing, so friendly and helpful!!! Huge thanks to you all, you're the best! ?
Passat ordered but got a Fiat 500
Yeah, so we had reserved a car at the airport for a whole week, but we ended up with this tiny Fiat instead of the Passat we were hoping for. There were four of us plus all our luggage, so the drive from Berlin to Lübeck was a total nightmare. Ugh, it was definitely not cool.
Car rental experience
My experience with this car rental company was a nightmare. They started off nice and quick when they dropped off the car, but things went downhill when it was time to return it. They purposefully took their time, knowing I had a flight to catch. They tried to make me pay for tiny scratches that they said I caused. They even tried to charge me for a loose part near the exhaust, which the person who checked the car said was already there. I suggest staying away from this shady company. It's worth it to spend a little extra money on a more reliable company than to deal with these scammers. If you do rent from them, be sure to inspect the car thoroughly, including underneath, and go over any damage with the employee when you pick up the car because they won't be honest later on. We're considering taking legal action.
Rental car payment issue
I had a really frustrating experience with my rental car reservation the other day. So, I made a reservation, paid for it and all, but when I got there, I couldn't pick up the car because they needed a credit card for the transaction. Even though they said they would refund me, they actually credited the money to a card that isn't mine. I showed them proof of payment, but they're being super unhelpful about giving me my money back. I'm thinking I might have to take legal action against them.
Rental car with surprise charges
Don't even think about renting from here, they're just trying to rip you off. I rented a car and there were already scratches on it that they wrote down, but then they hit me with a $500 bill for damages that I definitely didn't do. Stay far away from this place!
Van Rental Experience
This rental experience was a complete disaster! We rented a van to move some furniture, paid with our card, got a confirmation email, and showed up at the scheduled time to pick it up, only to be told they were canceling our reservation because we used a virtual card that they supposedly don't accept. They had already charged us and hadn't refunded the money yet. The receptionist had the nerve to say it wasn't their responsibility to inform us, even though they clearly stated on their website and confirmation email that they would contact us 24 hours prior to confirm details. And let me tell you, that receptionist was incredibly rude and unhelpful, not caring at all about the inconvenience they were causing us. We asked her to cancel the reservation so we could book another one with a physical card right then and there, but she flat out said no. As if that wasn't bad enough, they offered the same van to another customer, who initially declined but then saw it available on their website for a higher price. We had to file a complaint and ended up finding another van to rent at a higher price due to the urgency.
Great car rental experience
I rented a car from this place and it was awesome. The person who helped us was really nice and made sure we got the car we wanted. Plus, they fixed up the contract so it was even better than what I saw online. The car was great and we had a blast going skiing every day. Thanks a lot!
Car rental experience
My experience with the car rental place was pretty crappy. They didn't tell me about the crazy fees for giving the car back without a full tank of gas. So when I brought it back halfway full, they hit me with a 15 euro fee for fueling it up, on top of the 26 liters needed at 2.92 euros per liter to fill 'er up. Just a heads up for anyone renting a car - make sure you return it with a full tank to dodge these surprise charges.
Car rental experience in London
I rented a car for two weeks from a rental company at London Heathrow. The car was great during my trip, but when I returned it, the lady at the front desk said there was a small 5mm "rip" on the rear tire. To be honest, it was just a little bulge near the rim and the rim itself was fine. I asked how I could have caused a perfect circle "damage", but she didn't explain. Instead, they charged me 300 pounds, even though I argued. It feels like a total rip-off and I bet they do the same to others in the future (I doubt they even replaced the tire since there was nothing wrong!). Unfortunately, since I rented through the company, I might have to deal with this again.
Rental car return at Chamartin station
My experience returning a rental car at Chamartin station was a total nightmare. That place was a hot mess - construction everywhere, potholes, barriers blocking everything, and the rental car offices all moved somewhere else with no signs to be found. It seriously took me like a whole hour just to get that dumb car returned, and to top it off, the office shut down at 8 pm! It was a total disaster and I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone. You're better off returning your rental car at the airport or Atocha for sure. The employees there looked totally overwhelmed and didn't seem to have a clue how to handle the craziness. I'm definitely not going back there again.
F150 reental
i received the rental vehicle last week at Earnhardt Rodeo, in Queen Creek. The vehicle was dirty on the outside due to rain ( to be expected). inside was filthy, appeared to never have been cleaned, smelled so bad my wife would not ride in the vehicle after getting home. I Lysol ed 2x Fa-breeze 2 X, vehicle still had hair bands on the rear door lock. Earnhardt covered my vehicle thank god. Enterprise still had the nerve to bill me for $ 24 for extra insurance. I sent a customer service complaint with no response from the company.
