That’s actually when I relaxed a little — the card company jumped on it, surprisingly fast, gave me next steps and a timeline. Still, not great service overall.
Online car rental booking
I recently booked a car rental online for a trip and man, it was a disaster. I showed up at the rental place after hours because my flight got delayed, only to be told they had no cars for me during my whole booking. They wouldn't give me a refund and just told me to talk to the website where I made the booking. It was so annoying and disappointing. I would definitely suggest avoiding this rental company.
First-time car rental in the US
The app did most of the work for me, so I was able to just go to the car rental place and get my car. When I got there, the service could be different depending on the location, but that's not Rentcars' fault. In the end, everything went well for my first time renting a car in the US.
