Compact size car rental for 19 days
I just rented a small car for almost three weeks using an online car rental site. The price was way better than what other companies were offering for shorter rentals. The rental company's service was top-notch. Getting the car was easy, and even though it was an older model, it was clean, in good shape, and exactly what I needed. Dropping it off was just as easy. AddCar and the online site really went above and beyond with quick and simple service.

When I went to pick up the car at the airport counter with Dollar/Hertz, the service was okay. But the real challenge came when I realized I forgot to grab a hardcopy receipt when I returned the car. They tried to pressure me into getting extra insurance or a larger car by talking about all sorts of possible risks and accidents. It felt like they were just trying to get me to spend more money. Despite that, the actual rental process went smoothly without any issues. I'd still suggest giving Discover Cars a try, just be mindful of the sales tactics some rental agents may use.

I rented a car in Olbia, Sardinia recently and I have to say it was a pretty good experience. The whole process went smoothly, the price was fair for what I got. The team there was easy to talk to, and the spot to pick up the car was super close to the airport, which was nice. They even gave me a bigger car than I was expecting, which was a pleasant surprise. The only thing that bothered me a bit was their policy on cleaning fees. They said if there was any sand or dirt left in the car when I brought it back, I'd have to pay extra unless I paid upfront. I thought that was kind of strange because I figured they'd clean the cars between customers automatically. But other than that, everything else about the rental was top-notch.

My experience with the car rental service was pretty good, except for one big issue with sneaky insurance charges. I had reserved a car with Discover Cars and everything was fine until I got to Centauro, the rental place. I was surprised to see that they had added on extra charges for full insurance without even asking me. I already had my own insurance and didn't want more. I thought it was shady and maybe even illegal for them to do that without telling me. Car rental prices are already high, especially now with COVID, so it's frustrating to see companies trying to make more money by tricking customers.

Yeah, so I rented a car and it was really confusing! I specifically asked for a wagon, but they handed me something completely different. They told me the car had a full tank of gas, but it was totally empty! Plus, they wanted to charge me 20 bucks for cleaning the car in advance, or else I had to clean it myself. And they were constantly pushing me to buy insurance even though I already had coverage! And on top of all that, they didn't even give me clear instructions on where to return the car. It was such a mess!
