I thought I'd give Just Kids Books a shot instead of Amazon, but honestly, I was let down. I ended up paying more and didn't even get the gift card or gift wrap options I usually enjoy. Turns out, the books were still shipped from Amazon in the end. It felt like a total waste of time trying to switch things up and support a smaller company, only to ultimately end up supporting the big one I was trying to steer clear of.
