I've been buying stuff from this company for a while now and I've tried like 15 different things. I signed up as a Band of Beauty member back in March 2018, and I have some mixed feelings about their products. Some of them have been amazing for me, but others have been kind of disappointing. One thing I do like is how open they are about what's in their products, which is cool. But I do think they're a bit too expensive. Also, I'm not really into their push to change laws in the beauty industry or the people they work with. Personally, I don't really connect with Amy Schumer as a guru for mom advice.

Backcountry goggles order
I had a terrible experience with this company that makes me doubt their ability to handle even the most basic transactions. My boyfriend's friend ordered goggles for him on Tactics, but the order got canceled because the shipping address didn't match the billing address, which apparently raised red flags for their "fraud protection" team. It's unbelievable how they couldn't figure this out, especially during the holidays when address differences are common. And the worst part? They didn't bother to tell us about the issue until we called them ourselves to track down the order. The customer service agent we talked to was rude, unhelpful, and didn't offer any solutions besides placing a new order – without even offering to expedite the shipping. Now my boyfriend is stuck with his old beat-up Oakley goggles for his big backcountry trip. The lack of communication and accountability from management is frustrating, and I doubt they will do anything to fix this. I'm a ski pro, and I'll definitely warn my colleagues to avoid this company.
