bath mats
Here is the email I just sent to 2Modern's customer service department. This was in response to an email I received from them demanding a tracking number for the return within 5 days or they would refuse the return.
1. I have never been asked to provide tracking information on a return in 10+ years of frequent online shopping, much less with the threatening and aggressive tone of the email I received from you on June 17, attached below.
2. The vast majority of online retailers in 2022 offer free shipping and returns. It cost me over $60 to return these items to you. I ordered two colors of the same product so that I could see which color worked best in my space, and kept the color that worked, which is a common practice. I could understand you charging for return shipping of furniture or some other bulky item, but these were bath mats.
3. The color I ended up returning was listed on your website as the same color, but on receipt they were absolutely not. One was solid grey and the other was heavily heathered, so I would have returned them anyway, as they are intended for the same bathroom.
4. For the above listed reasons I would not order from your site again.
