RX glasses for backup
I got a pair of prescription glasses as a backup because I normally wear contacts all the time. I saw a good deal and thought I'd use my FSA money to get them. But right from the start, I noticed that even though the lenses had the right prescription, my vision was all wonky - everything looked curved and weird. I only planned on wearing them at home when I'm not wearing my contacts, but they ended up being more of a pain than anything else. They don't stay on my face well and keep slipping down, so I have to keep adjusting them to see properly. I've had a bunch of close calls and accidents because of them - walking into stuff and even stubbing my toe really badly. They're low quality and not very functional, so wearing them has been super annoying. I've decided to just get rid of them because they're not helpful at all. The only good thing is that they're pretty tough, since they survived my frustrated attempt to wreck them. But that just makes me more disappointed in them. Honestly, I suggest going to an eye doctor for a proper fitting instead of wasting your money on glasses that don't work well.
