Shower/tub replacement estimate disappointment
I recently got some estimates for replacing my shower/tub through Modernize. The highest one I received was around 6.8k. But it turns out, all the contractors who reached out to me through Modernize were not happy with that price at all. They all wanted at least double that amount for what they thought was just a basic replacement. Now I'm stuck dealing with a bunch of calls from contractors trying to get my business, but I can't afford their prices. The estimates I got from Modernize were way off, causing me to waste time and dealing with unwanted calls.
