The Batman in 4k and Doom in 4k
Hey, so I decided to order The Batman in 4k from this place, and they actually sent it to me! But then they surprised me by also sending the movie 300 in 4k, which is pretty cool since I wanted that one too. So then I ordered The Batman in 4k AGAIN just to be sure I had it, and I added Doom in 4k to my order as well. Both movies arrived, and now I'm just anxiously waiting to watch them. I'm super pumped, man!
CD purchase
I used to really enjoy shopping at this store, but now I can't stand it. They used to be great about fixing any mistakes, but lately, they keep sending my orders to the wrong address because they don't ship with USPS like I specifically requested. They assured me it wouldn't happen again, but it did. I'm over it.
Steelbook items
I was pretty bummed about the shipping materials that were used for my recent order of Steelbook items. They packed everything in a flimsy paper bag, and as a result, my products ended up getting damaged during shipping. It was not only a waste of my time but also really frustrating overall. I decided to share my experience on social media, and to my surprise, many others had similar problems with their orders from the same company. It looks like this issue with poor shipping materials is pretty common, and customers are even calling it getting 'GRUV'd. It's really disappointing to see so many customers consistently unhappy with their experience.
DVD order
I ordered a DVD online late Sunday night and I was super pumped to see it arrive so fast. By Wednesday around noon, it was already on my doorstep! The DVD was flawless and I was seriously impressed by how on point the service was. I'll definitely be coming back to this site again. Thanks so much!
Blu-ray movie purchase
My time at this store was absolutely awesome. As soon as I stepped inside, the staff welcomed me with a smile and all the info I needed to help me find the perfect Blu-ray movie. The store was super organized and simple to get around, so shopping was a total snap. Plus, the staff gave me some great recommendations that really fit my taste, which I totally loved. Overall, the customer service was top-of-the-line and really made this store stand out from the rest.
Movies, Online Shopping
I've been really enjoying buying movies online lately! I think I've done it like seven times already since August, and it's been so easy every time. I usually get my movies from Universal (Warner) Home Entertainment, which is awesome because they have a ton of really cool films to choose from. Plus, the shipping is surprisingly quick, even though it's free (usually only takes 3-5 days). They always have great sales going on too, like getting two blurays for $12 or three for $15.99. The only things I think could be improved is that the shopping cart setup is a bit confusing, and sometimes movies sell out and don't come back in stock right away. Also, the shipping updates on the website are slow and you have to manually enter the tracking number into the USPS site. But despite those minor issues, I still really love buying movies from there!
Preordered movie on release day
I ordered a movie expecting it to be delivered on the release day, but it didn't even ship until then. Now, according to the USPS website, it's going to be at least 9 days late. I specifically chose this movie because of the promised release day delivery, but it looks like that promise was not kept. The offer on their eBay store was misleading and I ended up being charged full price. I plan to return everything and open disputes to get my money back. I don't trust their refund policy, so I might have to dispute charges after returning the items. I'll just go to a physical store tomorrow to get this movie. I thought Gruv was a good option, but I was clearly mistaken.
Steelbook movie purchases
I've been a loyal customer of this company for a while now, and I've gotta say, I've been pretty disappointed with their steelbook movies. A lot of the ones I've gotten have been all banged up when they arrive, which just doesn't fly when you're paying top dollar. It looks like they might be trying to pass off old stock from another store, which could explain why the quality is so hit-or-miss. And to top it off, I've also had issues with getting expired digital copy codes inside the steelbooks, making them even less worth the money.

Gruv is such a great website! I gotta say, their customer service is top-notch and they deliver lightning-fast. I ordered some DVDs, and every single one showed up within days, no problems at all. Had to send one back 'cause of my mistake, but the customer service folks were total pros about it. They took the return no problem and even refunded the postage to my account hassle-free.
Damaged steelbooks
I got some steelbooks from Gruv, and every single one of them was messed up. They all had dents and broken parts. It seems like they don't care about making sure the items arrive in good condition. And it's not just me; it's become a common complaint in the Reddit community that Gruv always sends out damaged steelbooks. It's really frustrating!
Frustrating purchase experience
I recently had an annoying experience buying stuff online that really ticked me off. I got an email asking me to update my credit card info, so I tried to do it on the website but it wasn't working right. When I contacted customer service for help, I couldn't believe their response. Even though the email clearly said I needed to update my payment method, they told me there was no way to do it online or through them. They just said I had to reorder the product all over again. When I tried to do that, it was a hassle because even though the website said the product was in stock, there was no buy button. The whole thing was frustrating and left me disappointed with their terrible website and customer service.
Boxed set purchase
I recently bought a boxed set from this company, but unfortunately when it arrived, it had a warped edge and the metal container was all banged up. I tried reaching out to customer service by email, but got no reply even after two more tries. So, I ended up contacting PayPal to ask for a refund, and that's when the company finally responded. They said they had been replying to my emails all along, but I checked my spam folder and there was nothing there. They also claimed they didn't get any error messages. Once they realized the problem, they quickly gave me a refund. Most of my stuff was fine, but it was disappointing to not hear back from customer service about the damaged boxed set.
First order disappointment
I was pretty pumped to give this company a shot since I'd heard tons of great things about it from YouTube channels, but I ended up feeling let down. It took a whole week for my order to show up, and the movies I got weren't in the best shape - definitely not as pristine as they were supposed to be. Plus, they didn't have a lot of options for collectors like me. Overall, it was just a pretty underwhelming experience.
2 blu-rays, Paypal, double charged
I tried to buy these blu-rays, but the order didn't go through. They ended up charging my Paypal account TWICE! Can you believe that? I sent them two emails, but they didn't even care. I had to open disputes with Paypal just to get my money back. What a hassle!
Universal Monsters steel book
I recently got a really cool Universal Monsters steel book on sale from this third-party place, but man, when it came, it was totally wrecked. So, I hit up customer support right away to see if they could send me a new one, but let me tell you, it was a total nightmare deal. It took forever just to get a return label, and then it felt like even longer before I got any straight answers on when the replacement was gonna show up. They really dropped the ball by hardly communicating with me or taking any responsibility during the whole thing. Even though I kept checking in, I was left hanging for weeks. In the end, the third-party company had to step up and give me a refund because the original company couldn't come through with a replacement.
Openheimer DVD
I bought the Openheimer DVD from an online store for entertainment, but when it arrived, it wouldn't play. I reached out to customer service and they told me to print a label to return it. The problem is, I don't have a printer and I don't have many tech options. I tried to figure it out, but in the end, I had to give up and just lose the money I spent on the DVD.

Man, my delivery took forever! It seriously took like a month for me to get my order. And to make matters worse, the company hardly ever reached out to let me know what was going on. When I tried to get in touch with customer service for updates, they were totally unresponsive. The whole experience was just terrible, I definitely wouldn't suggest using this company for online shopping.
