Unsuccessful email unsubscribe attempts
I've tried so many times to stop getting emails from this company, but no luck. Even this morning, on my third attempt, I'm still getting emails I don't want.
Online dating experience
I just gave online dating a shot and man, it was a bust. The place was crawling with fake profiles and no matter how hard I tried, I didn't get a single response. It felt like a ghost town on that site, nonstop ads everywhere. Something about it just felt off, you know? I used this site like 7 years ago and it was decent, but now it's totally tanked.
Misusing old profiles
I can't believe how bold this company is! A buddy of mine saw an ad for Urban Social and thought they saw someone they knew - me! It turns out, they swiped my profile from a dating site I haven't used in 15 years without asking me. Not only did they use my old picture, but they also had all my personal info still on there. Who knows how many folks have seen that and assumed it was really me on that site! That's a serious invasion of my privacy. I contacted their data protection team and I'm crossing my fingers that they'll do the right thing and take down my profile ASAP.
Registration process and site features
I thought signing up would be easy, but man, was I way off. I entered all my info and credit card details, and then boom - ads everywhere trying to trick me into clicking. The site seemed more interested in selling stuff than making it easy to use. I accidentally ended up committing to three months because the pages kept refreshing and popping up ads. Plus, I didn't get the deal with the extra fees to chat with so-called "free" members. They were not upfront about what you could do on there and left me pretty confused.
Subscription refund issue
I had this problem with Urban Social not long ago. They had these automatic renewals and their cancellation policies were kinda unclear. I thought I was just signing up for a month and it would go back to being free after that. But surprise surprise, they charged me again even after my month was up. So, I called their customer service and let them know what was up. Unfortunately, they weren't very nice or helpful about it. It was frustrating dealing with the lack of clear info and their bad customer service.
Social app
This app was not cool at all. There were so many fake profiles with fake pictures and stuff. I heard that people can use it without paying and then ghost you. Not cool. If you do pay, it's expensive. So, just stay away.
Relationship-focused platform
As someone who's really hoping to find a real connection, I have to say I was pretty let down by this platform. There were a couple of real people on there, but most folks seemed more into trying to trick others or pushing hookup sites instead of actually looking for something meaningful. I wouldn't suggest this site to anyone who's serious about finding a true, lasting relationship.

This website is a total mess! Seriously, do yourself a favor and stay away. Fake profiles all over the place trying to sell who knows what, and the number of irritating ads is out of control. Don't even get me started on the nonexistent customer service, and on top of that, I can't even cancel my membership no matter how many times I try. It's just not worth your time or money.
Paid subscription experience
Don't bother with this bogus site! I tried out a paid subscription and pretty soon figured out that most of the profiles are using fake pictures, fake names, and fake locations. Seems like they're going after guys who are feeling lonely with all this false info. Don't let yourself down and steer clear of this shady site. You'd be better off putting your time and effort into something else.
Unwanted spam messages
I never been on this website or anything like it, but now I'm getting tons of spam messages every day with explicit stuff and a link to their site. There's no phone number to block them. They even know my name and where I am, which means they got my info illegally, breaking GDPR rules.
Online dating experience
My experience on this site really let me down. I got messages from people who were definitely not who they said they were. Tried reaching out to a few peeps, and they straight up asked me for money. When I asked for a phone number to chat more, they ghosted me. Turns out, those pics they used are from some other sites featuring models. The whole thing felt like a total scam with zero realness or honesty.
