My Experience with Food Lion's Online Grocery Service
I have been a loyal customer of Food Lion for several years now. I love the convenience of being able to order my groceries online and have them delivered right to my doorstep. The selection of products available on their website is vast and I am able to find everything I need, from fresh produce to pantry staples.
One of my favorite things about Food Lion's online ordering system is the ability to easily save my previous orders and reorder them with just a few clicks. This makes it easy for me to keep my pantry stocked with my go-to items without having to spend a lot of time browsing the website.
The customer service team at Food Lion is also top-notch. Whenever I have had a question or concern, they have been prompt and helpful in resolving any issues.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with Food Lion's online grocery service and would highly recommend it to others.Groceries and snacks
My mom told me we had to go pick up some groceries and snacks at the store, so we headed to the one on the street with the big hill. I really enjoy going to that store because the staff there are super friendly and always willing to lend a hand. It's nice that they greet us with a smile and a hello as soon as we walk in, it puts me in a good mood. They may not always have everything on our list, but they apologize and do their best to assist us in finding alternatives. I do wish they had a bigger selection of snacks, that would be really great.
Paper towel purchase
I mean, let me tell you about these paper towels I bought recently. They weren't some fancy brand or anything, just a 3-pack of whatever was on sale. Let me tell you, worst decision ever. These things were so thin I could practically see through them, and they soaked up about as much liquid as a rock. And don't even get me started on how easily they tore apart every time I tried to use one. Total disaster. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed with how lousy they were. Just did not live up to the hype, y'know?
Grocery shopping
I usually don't write reviews, but I just had to share about my recent visit. The people working here were amazing. They were so friendly and helpful, and they really made sure I got everything I was looking for. I could tell they cared about making me happy, and that's something I truly appreciated.
Grocery shopping
I can't believe it, I went to this place and the doors were broken for, like, two whole months! Can you imagine? And then they had one door shut for "security reasons," like, seriously? And let me tell you, the management there had such bad attitudes. The customer service in the deli department? Don't even get me started, it was a total joke. I'm so done with that place, never going back. I'd rather shell out more money and actually be treated right.
Purchased expired Open Country dry dog food
I bought a bag of Open Country dry dog food from this store and my poor dog got super sick after eating it. I tried to reach out to Sunshine Mills, the manufacturer, but they didn't want to hear about how much my dog was suffering. And guess what? Food Lion sold me a bag that was 9 months past its expiration date! Now I'm dealing with a $3000.00 vet bill and neither the manufacturer nor the store want to do anything about it. Can you believe that?
Groceries, Surprise Finds
I just moved to the area and stumbled upon this store on Branchwood Shopping Ct. I was pleasantly surprised to find unique items that I didn't expect. The employees are super helpful and the store has everything I need, even though there are bigger stores around that might have lower prices.
Store experience at Food Lion
I was shopping at Food Lion and had a pretty concerning experience. When I walked in, there was a cleaning crew going around with these huge mops and a guy driving a really loud floor cleaner going super fast up and down the aisles. The store was crazy crowded since it was a Saturday night during the summer season, probably because of all the folks in town. It seemed pretty crazy to me that they were trying to get the floors all cleaned up at 8pm with so many customers still shopping around. I even saw the guy getting ready to use this big polisher, but I decided to just bounce before things got out of hand.
Groceries and household items
Man, I gotta say, this store is a total disaster. The workers might be nice, but the customers? A whole other story. Walking around here is like something out of a scary movie, with the smell of weed and BO hanging in the air. It's like some folks have no idea what personal hygiene is. And that manager - the way they treat the employees is just wrong and totally unprofessional.
Grocery shopping in beach town
I went to the store and no one even said hi to me! I've been living here for 2 years, where's the love?! Only two people recognized me, what gives? I want some customer service, please!
Online grocery order
I recently ordered groceries online from this place and it was not great. Some of the produce I got was already bad, which made me wonder how they're checking quality. Even though I said I didn't want their brand stuff, they still gave me replacements I didn't want. It's disappointing that they're not paying attention to what customers want and not giving us fresh, good stuff. I hope they do better in the future to make ordering online more enjoyable.
Grocery shopping experience
I just went to the grocery store at Wedgewood Plaza in Norfolk, VA, and honestly, I was not impressed with how clean and organized it was. The aisles were a mess with stuff everywhere, and I saw employees glued to their phones instead of helping out customers. The produce area was sad, with sad-looking veggies and a funky smell. But hey, some of the cashiers were nice and gave good service. It's clear that there are some management problems that need fixing to make shopping there better for everyone.
Grocery shopping
I had a really bad time at the Food Lion in Bealeton, Virginia recently. This lady, Cheryl, was super rude and disrespectful. I asked her a question and she basically brushed me off, saying it wasn't her problem. I even saw her being rude to the cashier too. And when I tried their Food Lion to Go service, this lady Susan mixed up my household stuff with my food, gave me moldy strawberries, and old bread. It was awful. I definitely won't be going back there. They need to train their employees better on how to treat customers and pay attention to details.
Groceries, parking, rude people
Food Lion is basically the Walmart of grocery stores. Always packed in the parking lot, can never find a spot. And once you actually get inside, shopping carts all over the place. Some folks are just plain rude and there's always some kind of drama going down in the aisles. They really need to get their act together! I can't handle all this chaos.
