High-quality rug purchase
I bought this really nice rug from Annie Selke, thinking it would hold up for a good while. But, after just two years, the backing started peeling off, even though I barely walk on it and always took good care of it. I tried getting in touch with Annie Selke to see about getting a new one or some kind of compensation, but, unfortunately, their customer service was no help at all and didn't offer a decent solution. It's a bummer that the rug didn't hold up like I thought it would, and that the company wasn't there to back me up.
Sale item not received and wrong item sent
I'm really upset about my recent orders from this company. I bought something on sale, but it never showed up. When I asked about it, they said it was out of stock and too bad for me. Then, the item came back in stock and they wouldn't give me the sale price I originally got. The second item I ordered was a big ottoman, but they sent the wrong thing. It took a bunch of emails and calls to get a response from customer service, and that took a week. Then it took another week for them to even order the correct item and two more weeks to pick up the wrong one. The whole time, customer service was no help and pretty rude.
Safety Net Rug
The rug is fine but you cannot reach anyone ever on customer service. No one answer the phone, I left a voice mail 2 days ago and I emailed them but it is a black hole. You pay them a lot of money and order something and you have no idea when or if it is going to arrive. For all the money they charge for a rug, they should at least be able to answer the phone and return a phone call or email.
Rug and rug pad
I like the rug. However the rug pad comes in two pieces. This is not noted anywhere. You cannot reach anyone at the company by email or phone. I finally called the number listed as “Trade” which is the brick and mortar side of the company. This lady was helpful but it should not be so difficult to reach a customer service/ support person. I would NOT have ordered the rug pad from them if I had known it would arrive in two pieces. I could have purchased this in the city where I live. If I return it, I will eat the cost of the return. I likely will not order from this company again.
Sheets, carpet, duvet
I'm in the market for sheets again and I hate writing a negative review about a company i thought so highly of but here you go. One item I purchased was the Citra Gray 9x12 wool rug when I bought my new home 5 years ago. It was around 4k and was not straight on one side. Unfortunately is was a side that really showed in the room. It angled. I wrote the company and did not get a reply.
i bought two sets of queen sheets, very expensive as i recall, and one bottom sheet was thread=bare almost immediately. I actually thought it was crumbs in the bed - but it was balled up thread all over the middle of the sheet. The other pair was fine and I still love them.
Bought their white cotton hemstitch duvet in whiite. Lovely but have to have it professionally pressed as it's a balled up mess out of the dryer.
So there you have it. Wish I could get my sheets there but no longer trust either them or their customer support.
